Why do Raid belts cost 6 books

And is taking a thousandth less damage, amounting to no change to your survival or healing needed, worth a 50% greater cost?

I'm not defending it (or denouncing it by this post for that matter), just pointing out why they're not the same as rings like everyone has claimed. That part was conveniently left out by everyone. The question was asked why belts don't have the same cost as rings because they have the same stats. I simply pointed out that they don't have the same stats.

Yeah it's true that I didn't consider the defense/magic defense on the item. Probably because those stats do seem to be irrelevant on anyone who isn't a tank. But that is a good point as to why the belts remain 6 books.

That being said, weekly tome wise, belts and jewelry cost the same, 375, despite the def/mdef. No consistency anywhere.
