Who said a game is a necessary thing? People are just calling for demolition to pause because there is a global issue right now taking people away from their gaming machines or depriving them of their income. SE have done this in the past with natural disasters which have also deprived people of access to gaming machines or their income. SE are the ones who have set this expectation based on their actions in the past. It shouldn't be surprising that threads like this exist.

Not everyone gets paid enough to make this possible. Stop grading how responsible you think others are based on just your personal life circumstances. In some places rent is so high it makes it near impossible to make savings. And before you say "just move!" it's quite hard to when you can't even save much in the first place. Never mind how now is the worst time to do something like this.
