As a gauge for what to expect, I would say whatever the 13th place was this time will be the general range for the high end of the rankings next time around. And 13-100 will basically be free to anyone who participates even once. It practically was this time. And season 3 if they do it a third time? Most servers will be lucky to even see a top 100 at all. While I like the idea of multiple seasons with top-ranking participation only being allowed once, it does mean the competition will go down drastically with each iteration, which means there will unlikely be very many seasons, probably only three. 5.21 was season 1, 5.31 will be season 2, and 5.41 or 5.51 will be season 3, coinciding with the completion of the Ishgardian Restoration as a whole.

I don't know if that's true. I think they said there's no reason to win more than once, not that you couldn't. Some people won on multiple jobs and got the prize for both this time, so they could probably win in the next season too. So if botters want to keep their title "prestigious" and limit the number of people who have it they just have to run their bot again next season.

People that won multiple awards this time did so on Beatus, which is extremely easy to do. 13th-100th placers would never be locked out of future seasons since they still have the 1-12 title to get. It should only lock 1-12 placers from participating. The fact that 1-12s also got multiple beatus this time around is just a quirk of the system, they won't be able to do it again next season as well. And I don't remember the exact wording without fishing through the live letters and such but I remember it being pretty clear that once you got the rewards you wouldn't be able to do other seasons. There was a big uproar about it before it was also mentioned that the reward would be the same thing for every class so people who got it once wouldn't need to worry about other rewards for other classes. I guess we'll see how it all exactly works when next season drops, but I assume it will work mostly the way I described, barring the usual SE WTF way of going about things sometimes.
