That's part of the reason why I have my raise set to a macro on RDM. I don't have it give a sound indicator anymore on RDM because hearing <se.8> over twenty times in one raid literally gave me an involuntary twitch every time I'd hear it going forward. But having a 'hey I'm the one doing the raising' indicator that also doubles as a 'hey, I raised this person so don't waste your mana healers and focus on keeping everyone alive' notification in chat has gone a long way.

On my RDM, I got Hades in a duty roulette a couple days ago and there was a point where five people including both healers wiped and I rezed ALL of them so the healers could use what little mp they had to top fresh raises off. on top of that, I managed to keep my dps going since I had my combo up and lucid dreaming and I STILL got zero comms and the team thanked the healers for the victory... I've more or less gotten used to it, but it's still somewhat agitating. XD

I have noticed that people are having huge problems in that fight for about 2 weeks now and healers never seem to cast any heals anymore, they just revive dead people.

Heals not wanting to heal is an ongoing trend. Funny how we went from healers refusing to dps to healers refusing to heal :P
The most comic is when they actually res you, but then they don't heal you at all after, so after a bit you just die again and you can do nothing to prevent it.

Healers have it in their head that they need to emulate the hardcore savage community where everybody performs flawlessly and nobody takes extra damage, and your main job as a healer is squeezing out your maximum potential dps.

SE does nothing to dispel this notion with the current all or nothing content design where mistakes are rewarded with instant death.

E7N, Me on DRK, my friend on SCH. Going somewhat fine despite secondf SCH ain't doing anything and people confusing portals, stackin both markers together and dying regulary for whatever reason. Wiped one time to markers. Okay, going again. We manage add phase on second try, manage first "relocate" thing after that and then my game crashed (audio error, dunno why, never happened before). While I'm login back, my friend with whom I'm in voice chat, tells me how's it going. I'm asking if they'll manage to use LB3, don't wanna lose it on re-connect. Group didn't make it. I'm logging back in, full health, with only 2 DPS alive. I somehow didn't switch languages on my keyboard, and instead of "Sorry, my game crashed =(" posted in chat a bunch of cyryllic gibberish.
What happens next? My co-tank goes "Russians and Frenchies in group = gg" and leaves. Others soon follow. And here we are, my friend and me, finding others to fill the group and finishing the fight without any trouble or even the need to LB3 at all. GGs indeed.

RDMs are the most underappreciated class of them all.
It happens to me often, res countless of people throughout the fight, prevent wipes, get no comms.
The worst was last time I did Copied Factory, not only my effort for saving wipes wasn\\'t recognized, but credit was given to healers instead "omg healers of this run are so awesome, you saved us!!"
I think somehow people forget RDM can res and think right away people got ressed = healers at work, forgetting healers can\\'t even chain res.
Another weird thing is when healers and dps are down, you res a healer and die in the process, the healers once ressed raise no-res classes first, and leave red mages and summoners for last. Why???

I'm glad it's not just me that feels this way. If I've been rezzing everyone and get hit by a mechanic while helping out, why am I always the last one to get revived when people are on the floor?

Yesterday morning, I fired up the ol' PS4 to get a few roulettes knocked out before I went to work. Everything's going peachy-keen for my baby Astro until I start up Trials. The moment I laid eyes on Tsukuyomi, I knew it was either gonna be a complete mess, or go smoother than butter, no in-betweens. First and 2nd phase go well enough as it usually does, then 3rd phase comes up and oh boy, here we go. My WHM co-healer, who had been doing fine up to this point, suddenly dies, whether because of the moon stacks, or eating a stray tankbuster to the face, I don't know. I pick them up, and continue slinging cards while keeping the MT shielded, putting stars up while using Celestial Opposition, and keeping Lucid Dreaming on CD. Fans come up and proceed to slaughter all the DPS in one fell shot. I decide to Swiftcast raise the SMN, and then keep shooting the boss in hopes that maybe the SMN would use their raise to pick up somebody else.

At least, that was the plan until the WHM bit the dust again. With LB3 not quite up yet, and swiftcast still on CD, I figured might as well try to keep the 2 tanks alive until I could swift-res the co-healer, and then use LB3 to resurrect everyone. Then I glanced at the chat-log and saw the dreaded "Um, res the healer?", "LB3?". Despite the fact that the meter wasn't even filled yet, my swiftcast was still on CD, and the SMN who I welcomed back to the world of the living died without even resurrecting anybody. Once the meter was full, I slammed that Limit Break button and proceeded to eat an aoe to the face and picked up a vuln-stack. With everyone alive again, we proceeded to kill the Moonbunny. Afterwards, I saw the MT giving the rest of the group future tips about how to avoid the fans and figured my job was done. With my head held high, knowing I did the best I could despite a party trying it's hardest to die, I stepped through the gate...

And saw that I didn't receive a single commendation for my efforts.

Queued up for roulette as AST, got thrown into Vale. Party comp was GNB NIN and BRD. No one was new to the dungeon.

GNB had what was a keyboard smashed name, and thought it was suspicious. Runs into first room aimlessly, uses single-target attacks. My heals instantly pull aggro even though I hug the tank like a lost puppy.

NIN only uses Huton, no aoes. Just single target. They too pull aggro because of no aoe's from the tank to draw aggro.

BRD seemed to be the only reasonable dps there as they were aoeing and using songs. They too draw aggro from the tank.

First boss the GNB keeps the boss facing the party. NIN decides that's a damn good spot to dps. They both constantly eat Hundred Lashings to the face until I pulled the NIN away from the front. Only the BRD and I maintain keeping poison stacks off, and after I mention to go get fruit after 2 stacks.

Both the tank and NIN nearly die from having 5 stacks on them. Tank never eats fruit, never uses normal cooldowns save for GNB-exclusive cooldowns. I realize I'm dealing with a bot.

I nope'd out after the first boss and ate the penalty. My apologies to the BRD, but you're probably going to be doing the dps carry for that party unless you left too.

How many comms for saving the run? 0.

Comms make no sense sometimes. My internet has been fairly bad lately and I had a few trials/raids as WhM where I would get long 3-4 sec delays. Got hit by everything, died a few times, tried to throw blind Medica II's inbetween and run around like a headless chicken hoping to avoid mechanics ....multiple comms.

Then I get a perfect run that I later see was orange damage, healing more than the co-heal, caught every rez instantly, avoided all the mechanics, timed a nice lb3 to save a wipe at the end. Zero comms.

This is how they determine who is Mentor material, btw...

Yeah its true,

When I have to do Raising on SMN I have to hard cast it while whipping out Titan for the Earthen Armor... so everyone sees the actual Ressurections going off constantly.

Not so when I do it with Red Mage because of Dual Casting, so I'll res like 3 people instantly and then use Lucid Dreaming and a Super Ether and Res another 2, which I can't even approach that level of efficiency on Summoner.

The only difference and reason I get Coms on Summoner is because they can see the extremely loooooonnnnng casting time of Res going off. Which they never see when I do Red Mage.

just was in World of darkness and saw something i haven't seen since 2.5 when it came out... wiping 3 times on cerby due to people not doing chains.
