You need to edit those names out please.
On a side note my head still hurts. I just got out of a roulette run where we were thrown into AV. Party comp was DRK, SCH, and DRG. I was on DNC. Yes, I finally got of my lazy butt and unlocked it...after lots of arm-twisting from my FC.
Our SCH said it was their first time healing AV. Ok. I tell them to just keep our meat shield--I mean, tank alive, and we're gucci.
This tank...
1. I realize was wearing a few dex/caster accessories and lvl 40-45 gear. Ok...
2. Tried to mass pull the first room.
3. After dying and respawning in the first room, pulled aggro again but would turn off and on their tank stance, thereby giving me all the aggro.
4. Somehow we made it to the first boss room after he died yet again (and not used any cooldowns at this point), aggros the three mushroom mobs to the left, and decides to take them on a trip BACK to the entrance, dies, somehow I die after running after him to try to get him to bring it back to the rest of the group.
5. Does not eat the fruit I marked for him in the first boss room: he ran around like a headless chicken eating THE REST OF THE OTHER FRUIT EXCEPT FOR THE ONE I MARKED FOR HIM.
6. Blames the healer for letting him die.
7. Eats as many AoEs as he could.
8. Tries to blame the healer even more until I speak up, along with the DRG.
9. I had to remind him that he had Shadow Wall.
10. Second boss he ate every. Single. Swipe. Oh, and the Swing. He ate the Swing. Twice.
11. Continued to turn off and on Grit, thereby making aggro spread to the rest of the party. (why oh god why...)
12. Never once used Unmend, it was always Unleash, and he would only use it once or twice per pull...then occasionally turn off Grit and back on...
13. Final boss he seemed to nom Bad Breath like it was candy.
To top it off, he had a 55 pld, but I should realize at this point having levels in other classes means jack all of everything when it comes to the current run and you're f*cking up hardcore.
I commed the healer for having to put up with that bullsh*t the tank gave her. I don't know whose comm I got.
To the SCH we just had: I'm sorry you had to put up with that tank's harassment.
To the DRK we just had: please, please for the love of the Twelve, look up a guide or two or even ask for advice instead of being the toxic brat you were. You are a sprout, but that doesn't entitle you to act the way you did.
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
Did my E6N run for the week on Saturday as RDM. People were dropping left and right, and shortly after the last phase started, everyone but me and another DPS died. I rezzed both healers and a tank, followed by the other tank when I had enough MP, and we managed to limp through the fight without a wipe (although we still needed a Healer LB3 later in the fight). Through the fight as a whole, I'm sure I rezzed people more than a dozen times.
How many comms for saving the run? 0.

RDMs are the most underappreciated class of them all.Did my E6N run for the week on Saturday as RDM. It happens to me often, res countless of people throughout the fight, prevent wipes, get no comms.
The worst was last time I did Copied Factory, not only my effort for saving wipes wasn't recognized, but credit was given to healers instead "omg healers of this run are so awesome, you saved us!!"
I think somehow people forget RDM can res and think right away people got ressed = healers at work, forgetting healers can't even chain res.
Another weird thing is when healers and dps are down, you res a healer and die in the process, the healers once ressed raise no-res classes first, and leave red mages and summoners for last. Why???
because they incorrectly assume there's very little those classes can contribute with no mp./..except both of them get lucid dreaming, and if you pop that on a rez you can immediately raise someone else a short bit later at the cost of not being able to start damaging for a bit. i like red mage because it lets me support where needed or move to where i want to be faster on top of damage. its amazing how many runs you save picking a class that can chain res.RDMs are the most underappreciated class of them all.

but no lets raise a monk or a sam who will probably eat dirt to the next raid wide but not be able to que someone else up before they drop again...
I doubt they will look here given most people in the game don't, but, if you had me for healer in the level 78 dungeon (I think?) a little while ago very sorry for bailing. But, I seem to be regressing in the game. I could do that first boss blindfolded last summer. Not sure what the issue is, but after dying three times I figured you would still get done with the run faster even with a wait for a replacement. I hope your next healer was fantastic!![]()
Thanks for helping make the FFXIV community a fun and welcoming place. If you're not sure you have (and you very likely have), make it a point to be patient or helpful the next time you log in so that you can know you've made a difference.
If you're on the Aether data center, congratulations! I might be your nextexciting adventurehealer in the Duty Finder. Please look forward to it.
That's part of the reason why I have my raise set to a macro on RDM. I don't have it give a sound indicator anymore on RDM because hearing <se.8> over twenty times in one raid literally gave me an involuntary twitch every time I'd hear it going forward. But having a 'hey I'm the one doing the raising' indicator that also doubles as a 'hey, I raised this person so don't waste your mana healers and focus on keeping everyone alive' notification in chat has gone a long way.RDMs are the most underappreciated class of them all.

I have noticed that people are having huge problems in that fight for about 2 weeks now and healers never seem to cast any heals anymore, they just revive dead people.Did my E6N run for the week on Saturday as RDM.
