so i must say ffxiv team did a bad job on this one...

Agree 110%. Would be nice to see some prior mounts make an appearance for this.
Still exclusive.

yoshida said the reward is glory and title BUT it has no text clarification and his words is not something that you can trust, he lie deliberately or unknownly sometime.. so...

Should never have had a leader board. The only thing it does is promote fanatical "got to overtake" behaviour.
As soon as it was announced you knew what was going to happen: any interruption met with near psychotic complaints from people about their score not increasing for a short while.

Now of course they'll be in some fantasist "got to make up the lost time mode" as though others have somehow been able to gain on them in the downtime.

Yes, Square Enix could have done a much better job communicating exactly how these leaderboards work, but I'm also quite disappointed in the community for spreading so much misinformation, perhaps even purposefully, when the answers are (mostly) out there.

Yoshida has stated in several interviews now that the leaderboards are seasonal. They're specifically designed so that players can graduate from them and give other players a shot in the next season, cycling every ten days or so. There are some details that are not yet clarified, such as just how long the seasons will cycle (if not indefinitely), but for the most part if you want these titles it's not going to be nearly as difficult after a few cycles.

Those players need more parental control and/ or medical advice, because the problem there is not the game.

Well at least they only have 3 or 4 days left.. and then they can rest since they ain't allowed to rank again if they're in the top 100

I'm pretty sure there's some cheaters in the top spots. One dude on Bahamut has 2.3 million points in Alchemy. I don't even know how that's possible unless they gave up eating, sleeping and going to the bathroom. Even then, its cutting it close.

Edit also, why 12 spots?? its ff14 xD I'd get 10 but 12? xD

Because there are 12 saints in Eorzea (the 'guardians' you pick when creating a character), and the title above Top 12 says 'The Saint of Firmanent'.
