Petition to Increase Old Alliance Raids' Difficulty

You can be first, maybe this game isn't for you.
I really love the people who goes into the topics where people discuss problems or concerns about the game and just trying to say that everyone here is wrong and we should talk only about positive things here and there. Like, you either need to be somekind of megabrain or just a shill, trying to mindlessly defend what you like, I don't see another reason why people can do such dumb decision.

I think it's a great idea. As someone who started the game in November, I thought the duties were simply run in and smash the boss and it got really boring quick. Almost quit but once I got to the newer content I was hooked. I didn't even realize mechanics were a thing till stormblood.

Ill make the argument Crystal Tower is more or less how 3 expansion / 6 year old content SHOULD feel in an MMO that adds a full old-school mmo level of stat growth 3 times an expansion.

I agree with OP, I also think it sets an exceptionally low bar for what to expect when you get to higher level content and why things, especially in this expac, have gotten even more faceroll after getting a lil bit of a boost in the previous. You cannot expect new players to play on a level of even basic competence if you don't have content that require it prior to level cap.

When I start a new game and I see its content at that high a level be that much of a pushover, I tend to loose interest. I understand this is supposed to be a casual game, but like with most things, if the pendulum swings too far to one side, its not a good thing.

God please. I hated when they nerfed them in the first place and I would like to see some personal responsibility come back. I'm sick of people cheesing their ILV and then getting a free ride. If I'm gonna be stuck doing only LotA, ST and WoD ok, but at least let me play the game. Sitting there and doing no mechanics is not what I pay monthly to do.

The thing is, item level sync prevents stat growth in new expansions from affecting old content. The Crystal Tower raids have been facerolled ever since HW was released almost five years ago. It started even before HW when players got decked out with ARR endgame gear. Contrast with Weeping City of Mhach and Dun Scaith which are still enjoyable and have relevant mechanics. Even wipes are seen regularly, especially to the Megadeath mechanic in Mhach and Deathgaze Hollow's attacks in Dun Scaith. The only wipes in Crystal Tower result from people trying to cheese the mechanics by killing the boss before the mechanic can go off. Though I guess Cerberus gets a honorable mention by wiping if players are clueless enough about going into the belly.

And speaking of free rides, please discontinue the practice of an ongoing loot roll preventing vote kicks. Or at least make the immunity much shorter. It's basically impossible to kick anyone in alliance raids since people just rush ahead and start the next boss fight before the loot expires. Even in dungeons it requires at least the tank and the healer to be on board for the vote kick.

I totally agree with this. It's a problem in Copied factory too. No one should be able to abuse the system by not rolling.
