    They should just give it it's own aetheryte so you could teleport from anywhere to there and add other places to get into diadem, like way it used to be. But hey, why think ahead and fix problems before they show up right...

    It's probably to ensure they can keep the area locked down to server-only. Teleporting to Ishgard and taking the main aetheryte to get there is fine, it's just I'd rather be able to go there directly from the market.
