Lack of leaderboard clarification affecting player's health

The op seems a little weird. At least for me. MMOs generally promote and attract this this sort of behavior since UO. This feels like a more "X players can no life the game more then I can." complaint. Which is any timed exclusive in an MMO. Also a COVId worry throw in on top. They could just as easily say they are practicing self quarantine.

Some people were complaining that 500k achievement was to much. Multiple people break the 500k barrier in less then a week.

Most people have jobs. A lot of people (thinking this ranking is a 1-time thing) are staying up late to keep up their position, and then going to work half-tired.
That's likely killing their immune system and just generally unhealthy.
Other people who don't have a job just aren't sleeping some days, so they can pull ahead.

The issue here isn't a competition.
It's a competition with no information. Can you get the titles in the future? What's the reward? How often will it rerun? Do item scores carry over (e.g. can you hoard over a few weeks)? Etc.

It's basically artificial unnecessary scarcity.
And based on the -many- shouts from players, it's clearly affecting people's health.

Could the vaunted SE communication better explained this aspect of the game instead of trying to sell you another item in a LL. A million times yes. The complaint I have a job an MMO is bad for my health. Players would camp mobs for hours to days. This is an MMO it rewards the "no life" lifestyle. The people who get world first or people who complete something in a week that is suppose to take three months. MMOs have certain tiers of players. Also glad to see the good old I have a job excuse on top of the COVID. If you are old enough to play this game you should be old enough to know when to stop. It is the same as any vice.

I'd expect these people know better than to stay up super late to keep their artificial e-peen afloat, especially since noone will care once this event is over- if they're suffering for it, they choose to do it. So, that's on them.
