I'm not advocating for a major increase in difficulty here. Only so that it's comparable in difficulty to Copied Factory, or more likely less difficult, for the sake of the feeling of progression. This would, in proxy, make older raids more fun, if the difficulty adjustment is just right. Is this not the whole point of playing a video game?
I would argue that most using the Alliance and MSQ Roulettes are veterans looking for tomes rather than people looking for a feeling of progression.

I'm not saying current Crystal Tower, Void Arc and Ivalice arent for the most part an absolute bore, I'm just saying if, hypothetically SE did this, buffing these roulettes doesnt come with a bump in tome rewards to justify it, it is going to impacts queues. MSQ I feel more so than the Alliance but still.

To that, I would argue that I feel like the impact would be minimal. As one other person here had said that they avoid alliance roulette because it's so boring and all they ever get is CT. I share this perception, as I also avoid doing alliance roulette for the same reason. I usually hit my Allegory cap via other means, because I'd rather be doing something fun than something not fun, even if it's less efficient. I understand that that's anecdotal, but I labor to believe that the number of people who feel the same way are so few. The point here is old raids are not fun, in my opinion. If something isn't fun, people won't wanna do it. Sure, if the reward is high enough, they'll power through it and do it anyway. But they aren't gonna be enjoying themselves. Playing a video game shouldn't be a chore, and that's what old alliance raids feel like. In fact, I would go as far as to say that it might even improve queues, as people like me would be more willing to engage with content that's more fun.

Alliance raids are not leveling dungeons. They're level cap duties (50/60/70/80). If it was a leveling duty, I would understand the need for it to be this easy. But, it's not, and yet, LoTA is on the same difficulty level as Sastasha, the very first dungeon. Leveling dungeons are meant to teach players how to play the game and introduce new mechanics. But level cap duties that aren't dungeons should be more difficult than leveling dungeons. This is the discrepancy that prevents me from enjoying myself in alliance roulette.
