The Dwarven Mythril Warhammer is more like a maul. (I mean, it's really a totally-made-up fantasy weapon, but.) And miners already use sledgehammers.
I'm a weapons nerd, I can do this all day.
Well, it's not impossible. I think they did state that one of the jobs coming next expansion would be a job new to Final Fantasy, so it's not out of the question.
That's the first I've heard of any news about plans for 6.0 jobs. Do you have a source for that statement?

She's litterally a hammer dark knight. Most of her attacks have dark knight names and animations.
2.0 Veteran from 2013. Just looking to be helpful. DRK is Love, DRK is life.
(Ignore the levels on my character card, the tool i used to make it hasn't been updated for 4.0)
Was there ever a hint at future jobs? But, at least Geomancer is hinted in Ast's storyline back in SB
Thats the best your gonna get for a possible 'hint'
I'm trying to find the article now where I read it, but I'm not finding it. Must have been one of those articles with clickbait false info speculation, sorry for the misinformation.
Rather than for 6.0, they stated back in 4.x that they wanted to eventually do a job completely original to 14. Of course, this was back when we still thought we were going to Garlemald in 5.0, so people came up with lots of ideas for a "14 original" job.
Well, honestly, yes.before you get to heavenward you see Ast all over camp dragonbone so that was going to come evently, You see the Samuria in hw and the red mage so you knew that was coming. We have dancers since reborn all over the place so you knew that was coming. Both Raubhaun and Griffon are blue mages so you knew they had to add blue mage. And you knew they had no choice but to add gunblades as a job because the entire imperial army basicly uses a gunbreaker all over the place. So honestly every job added has been hinted at. Look at the time line on websites date vs job release and you realize every job has little hints about them all over the place before the job is made. I mean Limsa basicly has a gunner guild (which sadly should have been added with duel pistols ... but they went with cids path of machines... which again is a hint.. I think the only one visually that never had a in game hint was Dark knight. But then again you can't have paladins without have their opposite be playable without pissing people off so dark knight honestly had to be added at some point so
so Honestly they have no choice but to add a hammer job at this point consindering how many characters outside Gaia has hammers visually being used diffently than a warrior fights..
And honestly adding Geomancer now is a must consinder the amount of tease the game does and the lack of a job that honestly focuses on all the elements.

The Coerthan astrologians are a very different thing to the Sharlayan discipline we learn as a class. They're basically astronomers - they look at the stars, take notes and draw maps - not a very thrilling base for gameplay.
People dance. That's normal and would happen in any setting. We have not seen anything resembling chakram-wielding battle dancers prior to Shadowbringers.
Um, what.
Explain your logic because nobody has ever made that leap before.
