Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I've mentioned before that Yoshi-P will NOT give a hard yes or hard no.

A hard no because it's a PR nightmare and the news sites will pound on that like a form of "censorship" or "not listening to the players" no matter the actual reason.
And a hard yes because then that's a promise that he HAS to deliver and will be asked about the progress non-stop. And if something happens and they hit a snag or have to push them back for whatever, then he has to go out and tell the playerbase "I know we said this, but we can't deliver."

All in all, I'm not even expecting news until and unless they're prety much done.

...and give Viera more hairs while they're at it...

I wonder if all the people who complained about male viera not being added right away actually stopped playing. "OMG i'm not getting my bunny boy, i quit".

Now onto the main point. Most likely 6.0 will hold everything. I hope. But to be honest and some may not like it and i don't care but, you have to be very childish and insecure if you are going to make a big ruckus and state that you are not going to play the game anymore and move onto something else just because male viera is taking a while to be added and wasn't added off the bat. To quit over a race, wow. But again, i hope some light is shed on this in the coming months as i'm curious as to what possibly female Hrothgar would look like aside from male viera. Just my 2 cents. (Sorry if i sound mean but it baffles me people would quit over this).

If only the developers could literally be transparent with us. They most likely know if they're gonnab ehere at 6.0 or not. They should just tell us if not the wait is just getting harder and harder to the point where if WoW's next expansion is good I might just switch to that

They have said they do not currently have the ability to add them and to not expect them to be added. If something changes they will add them, but they do not expect that to happen anytime soon. All you guys saying 6.0 are only setting yourselves up for more disappointment.

Hate to break it to you but that's part of this threads cycle.

It goes through arguments about what they'll look like > about the devs and Yoshi P not being transparent > claiming devs have some ulterior motives (or the outlandish sexist claims) > shouting down naysayers > ignoring facts presented > "lore isn't a good reason" > "6.0 or I'll quit" > etc.

There's rarely moments of positivity in here. And I'm sure if / when they don't add male Viera in 6.0, we'll hear more outrage and have 9,000 angry threads and some of those crazy topics like when they weren't added in ShB.

It's basically 6.0 or bust as anymore than that the amount of gear would just be too great to ever deal with them (both mVieras and fHrothgars) even a 6.0 release would most likely have no headgear and other restrictions like possibly no gloves or feet.

People are just holding on to the last shred of hope as much as they can. Whether futile only the devs know (we could make a reasonable guess but that is it a guess).

It's getting exhausting to read over and over again stuff that doesn't belong here as well as ruins the positive intention behind the thread.

Not sure you understand how a discussion works. If there aren't those on the other side it isn't a discussion.

That being said I am all for the missing sexes getting added, but people need to stop acting like SE hasn't acknowledged them and shouldn't be setting themselves up for more disappointment by conveniencing themselves that it is happening in 6.0.

I support them as well as fem hrothgar and was disappointed with the genderlock but something just tells me its just not going to happen. Maybe i'll end up mistaken *shrug*

My hope is 6.0, though I won't give up all hope until 7.0 just considering it took two expansions for another race to be added, and completing the sexes of Viera and Hrothgar would be the equivalent of adding another race. Though if it is 6.0 with no word, it will be more a pleasantly surprised if it does come in 7.0 than looking forward to it with hope of an announcement it will come.
