Tank isn't using cooldowns or AoEs. AST is in nocturnal sect refreshing our barriers while we're at full health instead of healing the tank at critical health and the tank dies. We wipe on the 2nd trash pull. It is at this time that i decide that if we're not going to go faster than the trusts, then i queued up for nothing, so i bailed.

I'm also pretty sure the other dps was just single targeting the trash pulls while urging the tank to pull more...so there's that. I didn't get a good look though, but hings were dying fairly slowly.

I actually had an argument with somone who's played since the 1.0 days who didn't believe that the levitate marker was also a stack who went back and looked it up. Turns out since everyone did the mechanic right for so long, they never realized. On the other hand, since I try to be a hero and chase down Sprouts, I know its a stack because two people do not a stack make and I've died plenty of times to it.

I died in E5N cause of lag today, tried picking up an orb and I didn't absorb it and got killed by the full map attack.
Like ran through it two times.

Then died 4 times afterwards to other mechanics due to some delay.

DPS who demand quick dungeon runs and boss to boss pulls but then do such low dps that allow you to cycle your defensive cooldowns.

My favorite was a ninja in arboretum hard in late SB. He apparantly wasn't aoeing because his tp meter never went down. And I never saw a single doton aoe on the ground. But when we get to the last boss, I stop for 5 seconds to ask who wants to handle the mud pie, since when everyone tries it tends to get knocked around like an airhockey puck out of control, and in that time, the ninja just ran right into the boss room and pulled the boss. Like if he was in such a hurry maybe he should have been aoeing?!

Had an astro do their best to be a green dps yesterday in Bardams. I was the unfortunate war tank that was forced into doing smol pulls. My apologies to the DNC and MCH in the party that had to put up with that.

Y'all ever be healing as AST and have a WHM partner so bad that you switch back to diurnal sect? Yeah that was my copied factory run today.

I'm coining the term "goldfish healer" today in honor of healers who just kind of exist, don't really react to anything, and sometimes do something to make you think they're alive, but if left to their own devices they would surely die with a blank expression on their face.

Yesterday i got a set of sprouts for sirensong sea and got to have a refreshing run of people that knew what they were doing just not boss mechanics for the second boss or final boss. But that's ok because seeing people actively learn from their mistakes and make active attempts to correct them is more than i sometimes get in a week.

As their healer for the run i appreciate the hell out of that.

Just came out of an Anamnesis Anyder run with me on RDM and a MCH as my co-dps. First time I've ever seen only a single add spawn during the series of trash sahagin before the final boss. We even got a small chunk taken out of the final sahagin spawner before it spawned the one add. MCH burst is great and I had great timing with my burst phase. I started the first pair of sahagin with a full melee combo so the first sahagin was dead before I reached the finishing spells and the the second was dead after finishing them. Manafication was ready for the trio right after them, so after a single dualcast to get me back to 40+/40+ the next two adds went the same way with enough time to get another dualcast on the third before it spawned its dog. It was glorious! My commend went to the MCH just for this.

Trial roulette as DNC, got Titania. We wiped once, but there were some new people, so eh, didn't really mind. Also, not the point.

Partnered the MNK, fellow DNC partnered me for some reason...? I waited a few seconds to see if they'd use Technical Step, didn't see them dancing, so I used it... only for it to be overwritten a few seconds later. Maybe they thought it stacked? >_>
Even more confusing though, later on, instead of partnering another dps, the other DNC partnered the same (and only) MNK... why? Partner another dps, it's far more helpful and doesn't result in overwriting Devilment.

I dunno... it was a confusing run.
