Why is all the new hair that get added short hair?

I do wish they'd go back and consider some of the ones that made the initial cut for voting, but never actually won. Because I desperately want some of them.

I have alts and can use those hairstyles. That elf with the braids especially!

Also, to add to the thread, it seems like the developers are also too scared to add hairstyles that actually have some creativity to them. We have, like three or four short hairstyles that actually have that kind of effort put into them that aren't race bound but the rest almost look like carbon copies of eachother save for a few. The developers need to learn that it's okay to get creative with the hairstyles. Trying to please everyone with these boring androgynous hairstyles is never going to work in neither the short or long run. :/

I wouldn't consider the new hairstyle to be short, it's medium length.

I wish we had more short hair options that weren't feminine/androgynous.

I just wish they had more dude hair styles. There are very few masculine looking hair styles and it makes me sad.

The hairstyles they've added are from the old hairstyle design contest.

Maybe once they've added them all they'll hold another contest and a longer style will win.

Also, for the record, the new hair is a short hair style, with longer bangs. “Not short enough for me” does not mean it is not considered a short style. I say this from a place of “I want more short hair anyway, and make it shorter”.
