Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I know you're joking, but if Yoshi P reconsiders his stance on adding additional races, I wouldn't mind seeing a small furry/animal race using a lalafell base. I saw a moogle race thread a while ago, and I thought it was a pretty neat idea. Of course, I prefer male viera way more, but yeah.

Who knows, I think ffxiv will last for quite a while. Although Yoshi P said f viera/m hrothgar would be the last races, some of his interviews suggest this isn't set in stone. Perhaps a few years down the line, the dev team may consider putting in another race. I don't think a race like bangaa or nu mou is possible, but if it's a race that uses a more humanoid base like the ones we already have, it should be possible.

If new races get released, they will probably be branched off from our current races.

Elezen -> Viera
Roedagyn -> Hrothgar

Would be interesting to see a race branched off from lalafell.

This thread is for male viera, so why should we have to express that we care about female hrothgar here? -which by the way, people have expressed they do want their addition in this thread, too.

Do I care about female hrothgar? No, not really. However, just like I want male viera, there are people out there who want female hrothgar. I can empathize with those people. Even if I don't think female hrothgar will be a popular race, I support their addition. I have posted my support in that thread and made my vote (with the like button).

This is like going into an Italian restaurant and complaining that people aren't eating Mexican food lol
