Well I had my first Superbolide after a benediction (I was tank). Akadaemia Anyder. Did the usual full pull all the way down the ramp and things were dying pretty quick (even if the bosses died kind of slow).

I then found myself at 10k hp. Now I usually give White Mages the benefit of the doubt for them to use their instant full hp button but this guy's reaction was... to use Cure II. At 10k hp, during a trash mob. No he didn't cast it before I was at 10k, he cast it after I was at 10k.

It's a wonder I didn't smack super earlier but surely enough he uses benediction before I super and I drop all the way back down to 1 hp. I'm going to guess for this WHM, benediction wasn't their planned usage skill and instead only intended to save it for emergencies. Though I don't know what constitutes a bigger emergency if the tank is dead during a trashmob.

Was in Sastasha yesterday on my AST. All the way to the second boss, I found myself not having to heal the tank(a DRK) at all. I'm sitting here thinking "wow Soul Eater is keeping this guy up". Yes it's a derrrr derrr thought because I forgot Soul Eater is lvl26. Anyway it's not til the second boss that I realize why I didn't need to heal much at all. The Arcanist was constantly spamming Physick on the tank every single time he took damage. I didn't say anything about it though, just whatever.

On the way to the third boss, the tank asks why is he being spammed with physick, and I just said "more DPSing for me I guess lol" and the Arcanist stopped after that.

There should be an achievement for rezzing a healer 3 times and a tank once in the same fight and then go on to kill the boss in the end.

I was getting frazzled so yes, I know my DPS sucked in this fight, but hey. I saved us from a wipe. multiple times.

RDM used LB3 and killed half the alliance in Copied Factory as a result of blinding the hell out of everyone. 9S totally took full advantage of it.

I wish I could do new content without someone sperging out that people don't understand it and spoiling mechs for people who want to try it blind first run. Dude was straight up screaming in chat.

I hate the Roilers in Amaurot.

For those who aren't familiar with the mob offhand, they tether to the healer and impose an unpleasant debuff to healing magic potency. The debuff isn't enough to cause party wipes—though if you have a squishier tank than usual or the healer isn't well-geared, it can cause problems—but it's still irritating to lose a noticeable chunk of your healing output. So while they are little more than an annoyance in most cases, that doesn't change the fact that they are still really annoying.

So usually when there's a very large pull that I know will involve Roilers spawning in I throw a regen and/or Medica II on folks to taste, pop Temperance for the damage reduction or throw down Asylum, or something similar to make up the difference while the Roiler is up and tethered. Because no one generally pays attention to the Roilers (save, at least one hopes, the healer); it's not (usually) worthwhile for the party to single-focus-target a given mob when they could be AoE'ing the entire group, after all.

A couple of days ago I got Amaurot for my level 80 roulette, throw out the usual "Evening, all!" greeting, and set off in pursuit of the tank as per usual. Everything's bog standard until we get to the first place where Roilers show up, prepare to do my usual routine...

...to my surprise—and without any communication whatsoever—one DPS turns to target the Roiler with the single-target portion of their rotation, and the other follows moments later. Roiler just evaporates.

And again the next time one shows up.

I didn't even have to bother really thinking about them for the entire run; they'd appear, I'd have the debuff for all of maybe 3 GCD cycles and change, and then the Roiler was gone.

When we got to the end of the run, along with 'TYFP' I added "And thank you for focusing the Roilers down, too; I think you are literally one of the only parties I've ever been in where someone bothered to do that. I wish I could comm all of you for it!"

I meant it, too.

STORY TIME. A couple weeks ago I did a run of Sohr Khai. It was perfect up until the end. Sohr Khai is super easy as most of the dungeons in the 50/60/70 roulette are.

But in the LAST fight, I was greedy. I tried to Shield lob Hraesvelgr from the platform I was on and inched too close to the jump pad right as he is destroying the platforms.

I have NEVER seen anyone else yeet themselves off the platforms, so I didn't know if you did via that YOU DO NOT COME BACK.

So I lay there embarrassed till the end. No one says a word while I'm cracking jokes about my foolery in the chat. They finish it with no problem and leave without a word.

Fast forward to today. I'm doing a story run with one of my alts. It's going smooth.

Last fight comes, I jump one way with our melee, and the healer and ranged go another way, and then I see a body go flying into the abyss. I see the healers name black out in the party list and I'm like OH NO.

But I am like LAUGHING SO HARD. Cause that was me a couple weeks ago.

I tell the healer about my embarrassing story. We end up dying and have to go again, but that's ok.

Had a super smooth leveling roulette run in Dohm Mheg, despite Landbleed being my personal most annyoing mechanic in this dungeon, but after doing it 10 times or so to level up my Trusts I think I've gotten used to it by a good degree
Also, Aetherochemical Research Factory. No big troubles either but the second time where I saw people not going into the wormhole thingys during the last phase last boss. Maybe you can brute force it once the debuffs have fallen off but me as RDM is better safe than sorry and goes in and casts a few Vercures until the healer's free of debuffs xD. Not that I was also stepping a few times accidentally TOO early into them, nope not at all. Didn't happen.
