Better Hairstyle choices/ Longer hairs/ No Exclusive hairs

Probably. Since those styles seem to be a lot more universal. Female characters can pull of the look of those styles, but if we got more popular western male styles, or just general short cuts, I could see a lot of backlash.

I haven't actually seen what the roe hairstyles are like, but I have seen the midlander ones, and those are awful as well. None of them look good, literally. Like it's so bad. Coupled with some equally trash face options. It is really unfortunate. Very difficult to get a good looking male character in this game. Hair plays a huge role, even though a lot of people say they don't care.

Yeah, Roegadyn males don't have much choice in the short hair department. Heck, I don't think any males do in general. But I do have to remind myself that this is a Japanese game and there are likely to be mostly anime styles for hair. It's hard to make a decent looking guy, you're not wrong there! I saw someone else asking for this but I wish some races could have both of their clans faces. There's a sea wolf face that's awesome, but not available on Hellsguard. It'd be nice to have that. But yeah, I understand why they stick with longer and more unisex styles, however I'd like just one or two more short styles sometime.

I think a lot of other japanese games, or asian games in general have done a lot better male options though. Even when they look all shiny and like pretty boys. You can usually still make a pretty cool looking male character. This game is probably one of the hardest I have ever played to actually make a cool looking dude. No, I'd say it is the hardest to make a guy. I can't think of anything else I have played that has made it so tough. I feel like there were decent looking males in Final Fantasy before, so it's a bit odd.
