Trying to understand player behavour with MB & MSQ dungeons

That makes no sense. Your retainer can act as a vendor, you can sell items to them directly at vendor prices, and you have to use your retainers to sell it on the marketboard.

This is stupid(the mentality) because I've run into this crap in FFXI with crystals and stuff. Folks just kept on undercutting and undercutting and UNDERCUTTING because they want THEIRS to sell RIGHT FREAKING NOW so much that it crashes that item's marker and you would actually profit more by selling it to a vendor..

I mean it makes sense if the person has the desire to crash the market, especially when it generally annoys others. I could only imagine it is oddly satisfying to know that ones actions lead to a crash in a certain market, especially when one may have so much gil they have nothing else to do with it.
