It's petty, but I ignore most MB listings that undercut by 1 gil

I ignore listings if I don't like the retainer's name. At least to a certain point. I won't inconvenience myself but I'll spend a little extra.

I never buy the cheaper one if it's a 1g undercut lol. I'm sure someone will soon after, but that someone isn't me. It's just annoying.

And if I have to relist a slow moving item that someone 1g undercut I usually start to gut the price on it. Like I'd answer 74,999 with 60,000.
I don't need gil badly enough to play that game I just want this out of my bag for more than vendor/desynth price - all goods priced to move.

This too but it's not something I actively check, just if I happen to notice it.

I tend to just buy whatever the thing is at the lowest cost.

I will admit if someone undercuts my listing by 1 gil I tend to list about 20 of that same item at a 50% undercut out of spite.

I usually try to match the lowest price, unless it's something ridiculous like 2183 gil. in which case, I'll round it down to 2100 just because it's faster to type.
