No. Only people who play Viera.

Conversely, I'm very happy to see this change.

Better than not having them at all, no? I mean, it depends a lot on a character design anyway, something what would look meh on yours can look nice on another one.

True. Anything is better than nothing, but if we are going to pay (or have paid) for a hairstyle it should be that one, the one we paid for. I could see minor alterations to fit viera ears, etc. Similar to some hairs on miqo'te, sure, but that's it. Just my opinion.

Basically, ill say it in the non nice way.

A lot of you are ungrateful brats that don't deserve anything in the first place.

I call it petty because it was a comment born out of spite toward a group of people they perceive as "entitled snowflakes" (their words). As in, they came into the thread for the express purpose of being spiteful while criticizing someone else for coming into the thread just to rain on someone else's parade. Neither are a good look, which is the only reason I posted at all.

Frankly I don't think it's a good look to just paint a group of people as ungrateful brats undeserving of anything either. Are some people like that? Yeah sure. But are we really gonna sit here and say "SE should never make any changes like this because people are gonna want more of the same changes they were already asking for? I mean, look at the person that was originally quoted. They even came in to defend their position by stating that their thoughts on this have not changed. Removing one gender lock is a step in the right direction (imo), but there are still a lot more in the game, so of course people who had a problem with that are going to still have a problem with it because it hasn't changed. This isn't a give an inch, take a mile thing. It's more of a we asked for a few meters, and we got an inch but would still like the few meters kinda thing.

Personally I'm happy that they're starting to make these changes at all. You'll notice that I myself haven't posted a single complaint in this thread or in response to this one restriction being removed. I'm freaking psyched that I'm going to be able to wear the suit when I eventually switch back to a female character. I LOVE girls in suits. And I'm really happy to have another option.

I don't want to say anything in a non nice way. But I will say that spiteful attitudes from either side really don't do anyone any good, and it genuinely makes me unhappy to see posts like that. That it isn't even an argument of not agreeing because of a difference in philosophy or preference, but that it comes down to a jaded view of a group of people - no matter how deserved it may seem, and no matter how many people actually deserve it. It just makes the forums a less pleasant place to be, and doesn't really leave much room for discussion.

Unsurprisingly I have seen exactly one (1) male character wear the dress in game. Requests and praises are given for something that 99% of players will then treat as a worthless addition by never using it. It had to be done though, because those playing female characters liked how the tux looked and we all know how it goes when males get a nice exclusive glamour.
I've seen a couple of people around with bits and pieces. Saw a really cute male Miqo glamour the other day where it was the ala mhigan gown dyed pink and the wedding veil as the helmet. I'm looking forward to seeing more of what people can do with that set ^^

If the shoe fits? I understand what you mean, but it doesn't make what was said any less true. This goes for all the groups that ask for something, you get a little bit, then complain its not enough.

    That, by definition, is Ungrateful.

It's not that a meaningful discussion cant be had, its that all the attempts to have them result in the same outcome and it all just comes off as ungrateful.

I mean yeah, some people are gonna act ungrateful, it's unfortunate but unsurprising. My point is that just immediately grouping everyone who's still unhappy together and writing them off as "entitled snowflakes" or "ungrateful brats" is immediately non-conducive to discussion. It comes off as haughty and dismissive.

I'm just sick of seeing the "y'all are just gonna complain anyway so SE shouldn't do [x]." Not even specifically about any posts in this thread, but I've been seeing it a lot lately all over the forums. Like yeah, people are always gonna complain, that's how people are, everybody is gonna want different things and be pleased/displeased by different things. That doesn't mean you just throw up your hands close the shop and decide nobody gets anything. It's saying exactly that - that nobody should get anything because [x] group of people is acting ungrateful - that I think is petty and spiteful. And dismissive of the people who actually are genuinely happy to be getting anything at all.

But this has gone far enough wide of the topic, and it's way too early in the day for philosophical debates like this. At the end of the day, I'm happy for this change, and I hope more like it come in the future.

Hey, I'm enjoying the hell out of the bottoms and shoes. I'll probably use the dress at some point, it looks surprisingly great, but I was mainly wanting the legs/feet for everyday glamour, and I'm thrilled to have them.

Same here. Dress is fine, I just can't imagine how to utilize it for everyday look. I couldn't even if the character was a girl tbh. It's just a bit too much specific style, immediately understandable as wedding attire.
