New female midlander running animation?

I just want to be able to pick from and assemble our own mannerism classes, so to speak, slightly adjusting a number of animations on the fly when we see fit based on character or to leave static with their general personality. I already have my favorite running animation on this character, but I'd love to be able to use it on my alts as well.

Can someone tell me why the FFXIV community hates on girl midlanders so much? I think they are a very feminine and cute race...I genuinely don’t get the hate for them, it’s not like anyone is forcing you to play as one

Sometimes I want to play a character who's beautiful but not dainty and cutesy. There are precious few appealing (to me) options for that in the game, unfortunately. :/

...which is part of why I'm playing a guy now, lmao.

But yeah I'd like an option to change run animations, and fem Midlander's not the only one that looks kinda awkward.

On that note, can I as a Femroe PLEASE do the princess run. I'm big, but I'm dainty ok.

It would be very nice if we could pick from the animations.

I've always thought that would be a really cool feature in an MMO - being able to pick the personality of your character, which would impact their dialogue options as well as their emotes.

Not saying I'd ever expect it to come to XIV, but it's just been a thought that creeps into mind now and then.

I definitely supporting being able to choose your character's personality and mannerisms. It's kind of strange that we get the choice when it comes to appearance but personality is just decided for us. They're both equally important aspects of character and identity.

Speaking as someone that hates the dainty female midlander running animation....

I don't see this happening. While I do personally dislike it, that change may upset people that DO like the current animation so I'd feel selfish asking for it to be changed.

Adding in alternate animations for character models, I don't see why female midlanders should be singled out to get more options. Maybe if it were part of a larger set of optional animations but I really don't see the dev team putting the effort into that instead of new npc/enemy/player emote animations they could be doing instead.

I like it and besides get in line. Female Elezen have been waiting for fresh run/sprint animations since time immemorial.
