You're bringing up game aesthetic features to make an argument for world aesthetic. Though a hairstyle is hardly worldbreaking and as far as the Regalia and Magitek Walker are concerned: magitek exists in a variety different ways already, so again, not very worldbreaking for them to exist.

Then it shouldn't matter to you what people have as glamours and you do not need a way to mute it. Since it doesn't matter.

Yes it barely matters to me, especially when it comes to values. Would just be a nice feature to have that would potentially increase my entertainment playing this game. That's what's important in this game: entertainment, not values. Unless the resources needed to implement this option would hinder other developments, this optional client-side feature wouldn't decrease anyone's enjoyment of the game while it would increase enjoyment for the ones that wish to use it.

Yeah because metal armor are known for protecting people from skycrapper sized dragon's claw and from explosion the size of a football stadium. Hydaelin protection works as well on magic steel armor as it works on that wedding dress wearing dark knight. If you came on a MMO expecting immersion I have bad news for you.

Thank you for standing up for us holy spammers. Spamming holy in towns is part of my identity, I feel unwelcome and threatened when I hear people are against this, the fact that there's an option to disable battle effects insults me beyond measure. Idk what I would do if I was unable to express my self this way, my existence would be futile. Why don't people understand they have no right to decide how I present myself!!?

Well, when I use glamor it is to see myself better, as the rest see me, I can't care less.

It seems to me a curious option that should really be implemented since it does not harm anyone and only benefits a portecenaje of people who do not want to see cases like those exposed here that have often made me laugh at the absurd.

Depending on how the system work it could be a huge amount of work rather than a simple hide option. And this for a minor part of the community feeling opressed by something existing since the first MMO ever.
