I had same issue after the patch so i tried literally everything and stumbled upon your post and did some workaround about

So i found out that if you remove your windows account from administrator group then error disappears.

This sounds like a fix that could work for me! Could you please detail this a little more? I also have this dreaded error

You know it's interesting you mention administrator group. I am pretty sure when this mess happened I had discord suddenly acting up and having trouble with administrator privileges (because XIV had it and discord didn't, or something like that). I am going to give the geforce experience a try (it makes me wonder if maybe the experience isn't the problem in some way?) after my game is done reinstalling.

Also I echo your sentiment Fessadil. Something seems clearly amiss when I was able in certain cases to walk around, to mount (Character and mount being invisible) and then dismount, to open my inventory but NOT my character panel or my currency menu. Where I could type in say and party chat but any /emote I did did not show up (The character did not wave, dance). Even though the character could walk around.

To me that suggests a software problem more than a hardware problem. I have never heard of a GPU causing that sort of thing.
