    Abuse in a world chat is handled the same way abuse in city chat is handled: Report and it silences them for you. Enough reports and the person gets a visit to the jail.


    I guess to keep the bots out, it can be limited to a player above a certain level. Say 5. High enough that it isn't instant, but low enough that a sprout can still have access when needed.


    Truly, FF14 is pretty overwhelming for a new person.

    True story: I spent a good portion of my time in-game this past weekend unlocking a bunch of level 50 dungeons and quests I never did or never even knew existed. There is so much to this game that was completely unknown to me when I started really playing it, which was around 2018. To this day, I still feel like I'm playing catch up.
