Ah, yes. The shape shifting rapist gets mad when someone sleeps with his sister-wife's likeness. Man do I dislike Zeus with a fiery passion.Fun Fact: In Greek Mythology, Zeus tricked Ixion into copulating with a cloud in the shape of Hera, and the product of this union was the race of Centaurs. Ixion was then struck down by Zeus's thunderbolt for copulating with his wife's likeness as a cloud...
Ramuh was the primal of the Sylph, in mythology they are air spirits...
Personal 3 Mantras as a White Mage:
1) BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD LILY, HOLY FOR THE SPARKLY THRONE!!!
2) The Kupo does not care where the Blood flows, only that it flows.
3) I will not heal you, I am prolonging your suffering so that I can nourished my Blood Lily.
After the first round of Eden, I was wondering what we'd been smoking or ingesting to come up with Levi and Titan... and why we did even more for this round!
Ramuh kind of makes sense, since it's blending a lot of lightning elemental foes together. Garuda doesn't look too different. Ifrit looks kind of generic though
Isn't Ramuh a Hindu god and Ixion from Greek mythology. Not sure how it makes since to combine them.
I mean... FF has a history of taking interesting mythology characters and twisting them into their own image. To the point that they really don't represent their original culture in the slightest either. Garuda is Hindu as well but his FF incarnations are wildly different from how he's depicted in mythology. (Though to be fair Garuda's appearance differs depending on the culture portraying him and the tale.)
FF14's Garuda is also now sharing a Normal Raid floor with Ifrit who is Islamic in origin, so it's pretty clear the FF14 dev team doesn't have an issue mixing and mashing cultures together.
I was kinda hoping he would be a giant muscular man inside an even larger muscular beard...
We will also get this Ramuh as the savage mount, so you can even ride on him.
