Don't under estimate what some creeps would do. If you have no idea then consider yourself lucky to have not encountered this sort of problem.I'm assuming if someone contacts you to share a screenshot, you get a name or handle of some manner since they contacted you. If however you mean you somehow find a screenshot online that someone took of you that's showing your char disrobed or in an outfit you personally feel doesn't express you or your char's personality you would raise grievances with the appropriate staff if such exist (like on a forum or a facebook group or something similar). But even then, it doesn't affect you unless people start harassing you due to said screenshot and again if they are contacting you ingame or on another platform you have text and names to report them to relevant people that can get rid of them.
Lets not give a tool that allows creeps to see skimpy outfits people chose to hide. Why is this difficult to understand?

The game itself is a tool for creeps to get off on their fetishes. So... what do you propose we do with this tool? I mean I've had people send me random lewd tells or proposition me in other games and I ignore them but for all I know there may be screenshots of my char floating around in the aether that show her in a bad light of some sort but no one's acted on that toward me so it literally does not affect me. Unless they're thinking bad things about me but I can't police other's thoughts. Again how does this actively affect you that people -may- see you in whm AF and -may- be a creep and never tell you?
Right now my char profile would show her in dnc af, I main rdm and feel it doesn't really fit her (mainly cause miqo'te seem a lil too scrawny for outfits like that) but I'm not worrying that people think "oh look at that outfit she must be soooo easy" I'd only be concerned if they contacted me, in which case they get reported.

Sure, but let people continue to dress in a way to avoid this attention. If they want to make a fetish of their own character, fine. If a player wants this attention, fine. And if a player wears a skimpy outfit they would likely be aware some people might take uncompromising screenshots of them but it is their choice to have this risk. My personal choice is to not have this risk at all unless someone has a fetish for modestly dressed people, which isn't likely.
I had some weirdos in WoW say some things about my character's body to me, way back when glam/transmog wasn't a thing. I'd prefer to not have this happen again. Sure I could report them but wouldn't it be better to be able to avoid this situation?
Also lets keep in mind some people would get off at the thought of seeing something a person had chosen to hide.
It would be funny to see my character in something she literally cannot equip![]()

If any amount of time on the internet has taught us anything, everyone has a fetish for something and 100% your char has at the minimum been thought of in uncomfortable ways. Just as mine has, and just has many many other player's characters. Not that it's OKAY that they're being creepos, don't misunderstand me. I'm only saying there is no way to prevent other people from thinking things they want to think and no amount of protection through use of clothes or glamours will stop people from being people and unless we learn to live knowing that we cannot control how others perceive us and move on not caring what some creep thinks, we'll have arguments like the ones that have been happening in this thread.

I did say in a post a few pages back by now that I would like to be able to continue to possess what little control I have over getting unwanted attention from creeps. I know people can be weirdos in a variety of ways, but there is something to be said about being able to avoid a particular type of creep. If any amount of time on the internet has taught us anything, everyone has a fetish for something and 100% your char has at the minimum been thought of in uncomfortable ways. If OP's option comes to the game, I would only be able to tolerate it if it put players in modest looking gear.
I don't want people looking up a short skirt I chose to hide. I don't want people to take uncompromising screenshots of something they shouldn't be able to see. I do not want to be someone's fetish in a manner I specifically try to avoid with my glams. I don't want to be displayed in a way that can easily be seen as very sexualised just because my combat gear happens to look this way unglammed. This would make me very uncomfortable and I seriously doubt I am the only one who feels this way.
I just want to be able to chill in this game, and I won't be able to if I'm worrying about my revealing combat gear being unglammed by someone else's choice, and worrying about whether some creep is going to comment on it or upload a screenshot or stream to a public domain.
Really do not underestimate what some creeps would do. I unfortunately know what some people are capable of.
