I don't mind replacing deep dungeons if they just going to be more of the same. The loss of regular dungeons bothered me more. However I feel like the deep dungeon concept had a lot of potential, and that's also taken away if they're not going to focus on this kind of content. I'm also surprised that of all the things to be cut deep dungeons would be one of them. PoTD and HoH are pretty similar, unless FF14 is designed in such a way that makes templating content really hard adding a third iteration shouldn't take that much in terms of resources. If they were really stretched thin, why not just make advanced versions of the first two with a higher level cap and a couple of unique additions?

Implying that Deep Dungeon was anything but "Casual Crap" ouside the upper floors. If it turns out to be bad, I'll be all there with you. But until we know more I'm going to be on the side of "Cautiously hopeful.
