Yoshi-P, honey, you know I have absolutely mad respect for you and the dev team. You put up with a lot of abuse from us, and despite that you hold your heads high and do your level best to churn out all sorts of wonderful content.

This is especially true for your efforts with housing. Furnishings have exploded by leaps and bounds, and I am absolutely thrilled with that. Truly!

But... the increase in available furnishings does present a problem. Too many items we want to use, and not enough slots to use them in. I know we've been asking and asking for this, but I'm going to ask one more time.

Please, please, take a good hard look at increasing our limits? At least a little?

I understand there are system/coding issues, but surely the code, budget, and technology have improved enough we have a little flex by now? And we don't need another straight doubling like we got last time, though that would be nice. We can work with smaller increments over time.

Maybe 50-100 for a small, 100-150 for a medium, and 150-200 for a large?

Just that alone would go a very long ways towards giving us the flex we need to fully enjoy all the wonderful furnishings, new and old, we have.

I would have to agree with you on this. Housing has so many fans and even facebook groups and websites to show off our creations. Have even had people ask, "you can do that in your game? Wow!". I use housing decoration as a way to express my creativity and with more slots...would just be amazing! (I actually had someone tour my house on stream and the said this same thing) We are so grateful to all of you for listening to us as a housing community and any increases would be most welcome!! <3 always

I agree as a decorator, crafter and gatherer we need more slots. Not just for housing but for inventory for us as well as retainers and saddle bags. I could do sooo much more with housing and mass crafting with more room to work with.

They did say they wanted to increase it again (though not that it was specifically planned). If it does happen, I would expect it to get implemented when Ishgard housing opens.

I sincerely hope we don't have to wait that long for it, but you have a point that it IS a logical place to put the increase.

Please please please save my cavernous basements from obscurity .. I would love to decorate them with as much attention to detail as my other floors but always have to block them off. I have only things I love in my house there are simply no slots to add more things I love .. I want the new stuff but I want the old stuff I love in there too.

100% support this. They are adding so much housing stuff, but there is just not enough space for making a nice lived in home unless you block off floors.

Just 50 more slots in a medium would be fantastic.

(Also... seasonal storage please...)

This would be fantastic at some point, although as a housing enthusiast of a few years now, I have to say that the housing community has received a LOT of love from the dev team and I appreciate that greatly.
I think the size that suffers most from a shortage of items on the list is the large. Quite frequently when accepting commissions on larges, I have to advise that the owner block off an entire floor in order to fill in with the wonderful details that make an in game home feel like a real one.
Again, much appreciation for where we've come so far. This is a great game with so many facets and they are all very well done.

I agree but might take some time for them to get that to happen. In the meantime, take a look at some cool simplified modern houses people are making in twitter. You can make a house look nice without all that extra trash hanging on the walls or the shiny trophies.

Every time they release new furniture I have to think about what I can remove so that I have enough space for the nice new items. This time there are especially nice things, like the yellow crystal, the new wall planter, the plates, and so on. And then there are the new outside furnishings that are really nice. It's even worse with those, I have no idea what to remove for those... I need more slots.
