Outdoor definitely needs more inventory space. However, the indoor slot problem could also be improved by improving the housing system so that players don't need to use 50 pieces of the same item to make a single furniture. Maybe they could implement a construction mode where players use existing housing items to design a furniture item and it becomes a single piece of furniture that they can then add into their house? (Would still require buying the necessary items, of course).

While I’m at it, item placement restrictions also need to go.

Solution for outdoor slots would be smaller wards.

Divide the number of ward houses by two, and double the number of outdoor slots per house.

Being creative, fashion the wards like little nooks and crannies that one might find in the given region, perhaps with a more open area in the center for a congregation area.

That's a valid suggestion... provided the person in question wants, or even likes the modern house look for their house. I personally do not. I think modern houses look about as welcoming as hospitals, and just as sterile. It's cool if you or others have a better appreciation of the look than I do, but that's not a cover all solution for everyone unfortunately lol.

-Agreed 100% both interior and exterior need major increases in item limit.

-Also please remove placement ALL restrictions/limitations.

-Add the ability to "construct" items ourselves (huge request to UI but would make housing design massively more enjoyable and unique)

They keep releasing all this cutesy tabletop stuff and no slots to display it all. My walls are kinda bare too.

Calling Yoshi-P "honey" and then saying "mad respect for [him]" seems very contradictory to me xD But that's besides the point.

I would love to see apartments, especially, getting an increase. If people neglect their basements in a cottage (fun fact: cottages didn't always have basements), they basically get 200 items for the top room. Meanwhile, apartments don't get that "loophole," they get a flat 100 item. Over all, an increase would be nice. Mansions could especially use them, I think.

I won't be coming back to FFXIV's forums. The forum vibe is way too venomous and brings out the worst in me. I don't like who I am on the forums, so it's best to distance myself.

I'm sorry. I'm from the US South. We tend to use words like honey, hon, and sweetie in a more generic context. It's like calling someone dude, man, or mate. It's not meant to be sarcastic, disrespectful, or anything else you might be thinking.

I odnt really care for the "go for the modern look", modern is a more minimalist approach that in my opinion isnt much on "personality". I need some "feeling" in the homes, id want a item limit increase, but you also have to be creative within the limitations

I need about 30 or 40 slots for my outdoor furnishing.. 20 isn't enough.
