Have you seen the whole fiasco over the waymarks? That was like putting a cast on a papercut. If there's that kind of reaction to something so small, I can't imagine how it would be to create something like a talent tree for PVP (as much as I would LOVE it, don't get me wrong. I love games where you can have that kind of impact on your own character's growth).

There are just so many things that can be done...but I feel like with regards to PVP, there's one guy chained down in the basement working on it all.

I kinda miss the old point system we had where we could upgrade certain skills like retaliate to do more counter damage etc, perhaps they should consider bringing that back because atm its so bland and there's clear go-tos for additionals.

Leader of the party alone has the ability to create waymarks. If they don't want to do it, assign lead to someone else. /shrug. Seems easy enough.

You forget that the Party Leader is randomized in RF.

But considering Yoshi P is now aware of automatic waymark placement, that doesn't really resolve that either.

Just play another pvp game. SE doesn't care about pvp. Even if they did, if six years is anything to go by, they don't have the expertise to make an engaging pvp experience either.

Few mmos coming out this year, maybe one of them will get it right.

Jup, I don't even care about pvp but just to get a mount and outfits - that is the end of pvp in this game -

Exactly what they did with presets, but don't lock waymarks once combat begins. Monitor for programs that actively inject inputs into the game, and flag suspicious activity.

Bam, you defeated Paisley (it's Dev won't update the program anymore once the program's function becomes first party), which alone should cut down on the cheating using waymarks completely.
