5.2 Crafted Gear: Gender Locked Alterations

In the image, you have a Roe male striking set, which shares the same styles typically with Aiming sets with slight color variant and as you can see, the male version is a suit, the female variant is a frilly skirt...
The same with casters. DPS casters and healing casters have the same models but its a typical color variation and, again, suit on a male, frilly skirt on female...
The plate sets are displayed by the GNB Male and the LNC female on the end which also have similar looks but different color variants, typically. The Male has the super sleek, awesome variant... The female variant of the plate armor is a frilly skirt...

My concern is valid as a pattern presents itself. ALL the females in the image are in a deviation of the frilly skirt model.

Isn't the male roe scouting? He's not striking because there's a MNK on the other side in different outfit.

It's DRG and caster that are sharing a similar set. They don't always make tank and DRG share.

Looks like its striking sharing with fending and striking this time. The Fending and striking look the massively different than all the others, and fending gear almost never has a gender difference. There might be no gender difference in those two.

I believe the only time they ever made the male and female tank gear different was with the YoRHa gear, and that was because that's how the YoRHa androids dress in Nier: Automata.

Though gender differences in this crafted set are as big as you see in YoRHa. Usually when there's a differences in combat gear, its only small. Which might mean the fending/striking is different too on female characters. But then the fending/striking look a lot different for some reason than what the other male characters are wearing. While with YoRHa, the all male outfits all look similar to each other (all based on 9S' outfit).

Which totally sucks because of all the released sets in this patch, the crafted gear tanking set is the best looking tanking set but as a female, I will be forced to wear a frilly damn skirt JUST because I'm FEMALE, with no choice in the matter...

Have they shown the female tank set yet or are you just making up stuff?

Cause the MALE tank set looks hella different from the male Aiming set and looks to be closer in design to the Melee set (also only seen on the male set) so...

And many of them are not even proper, 360-degree skirts but these abominations which are wide open in the front. I like skirts but I want them to cover my legs dammit.

i mean there is plenty of other skirts in the game most the female gear gets converted into short shorts or they just end up being revealing

It does not. Most gear is the same on both genders.
