5.2 Crafted Gear: Gender Locked Alterations

The issue is that I WANT to wear the male tanking variant. THAT one looks better, in my opinion, and there is nothing aside from SE making it so that I cannot, simply because my model is female.

What I am being forced to wear is a skirt simply because my model happens to be female. THIS is the objection. Nothing about me, or my character, would charge teaming hordes and masses in a frilly skirt and being forced to wear the variant simply because of the gender of my model is ridiculous!

From the content designers perspective, on numerous accounts, they don't care so long as their content gets SEEN! Gets enjoyed! If I had that Male variant, I know I would rock that look until it needed to be put down because it's just that awesome and would look that good on this toon.
