Its not harassment if if the truth, this is the only MMO community where that seems to constantly be in question, Its harassment to seek out threads involving Endgame discssion and talk down to people, all while saying they have no knowledge of endgame content or how it functions in the same sentence, this person seeks out these reactions and its glaringly obvious.

Yes you can, that was was a hate mob and outright bullying. The way that was done with dredging stuff up to launch personal attacks on someone was frankly vile. Then don't rise to them, it's as simple as that. It's not always easy but when you feel the need to dig up stuff from dodgy websites to name and shame the person it's honestly pitiful.

I think whats worse is that all they've done outside their own harassment is say Parsing is bad cuz people use it to harass, which most of the people on this thread agreed with omegalul, I call it harassment both ways honestly, but she still has no place in end game discussion if shes openly talking down to others and being willfully ignorant. People would tell her to go away and leave IRL to if she did the same on any other topic.

The reason why we literally can't have any disccusion on these topics is because there is always someone whos pro parse who takes it too far, and someone whos pro casual and takes it too far, all while the majority of the comunity attempts to talk with common sense. As it stands that person, she needs to stay out of these topic threads and stop stirring the pot, myself and others are not gonna coddle her while she berates and talks down to others who disagrees with her, again, something that has gone both ways.

As far as pulling her logs, don;t talk about how good you are, someones gonna have no chill and do and then laugh, again, sadly how the world works.

Reminds me of being a mod on very popular art forums.

Intermediate artists or "Fanboy artists" would go after someone that says something dumb and blow it up "it's MY STYLE" and often a lot of repeated advice is actually used incorrectly. Like you have to do boring studies forgetting the reason to draw was for fun and you have to generate that kind of fun to keep balancing out the boring stuff. Or outright giving incorrect advice about animation in 3D space (that everyone who works in 3D productions have to learn how to draw). It's so dogpiled and while entertaining to "chase out bad artists" it did create a hostile environment that became counter productive to actually learning how to break barriers and be better at art in general.

While art is a bit more complex than how this game works. The same mentality applies.

You can’t expect people to just take your word for it when you come into a discussion, guns blazing, and declare that you’re awesome at video games. It’s fairly typical for people to expect proof of such claims. They didn’t provide any—so people just looked it up where they knew they’d find it.

Personally, I don’t think they were innocent when it came to this discussion. I had been following it and they weren’t exactly nice to other posters. Even before the XIV Analysis popped up.
