More viera hair (And the ability to use modern Aesthetics hair)

I can live with the hat thing, but there is no excuse for the hair. It's just beyond ridiculous at this point. Probably wouldn't have used my free fantasia had I known the hairs would've been limited. Don't really feel like rewarding them with a fantasia purchase to change back at this point.

Im in the same boat, I don't want to give them more money because *they* did something poorly lol

I wish people would put more energy into threads like this rather than male viera/ female hrothgar bc that way atleast one of the things is doable. I wish very much for Viera to get better hair as well as hrothgar- I'd want Frans actual Ponytail and not some tiny sad version of it.

Yeah it's kind of sad. But some people seem to think it's such a privilege these races got added at all that people should just accept every shortcoming they have, so it's not getting much traction.

I kind of like the 'Fran-lite' Viera hairstyle, the front part at least. The actual ponytail looks like she needs a deep conditioning treatment and a brush.

Unlike Male Viera or female Hrothgar the devs actually told us New Viera hair and Hrothgar faces and manes are coming. More than once actually.
So most people feel like they should remind the devs about things that they want that haven't been confirmed to come yet. Like, if they said more than twice that MNK is getting a full rework at some point I'd see no reason to keep saying "Monk needs a rework". But they haven't so people bring it up.

I'm being a little facetious of course, I don't doubt they will get around to adding stuff to the races eventually. Just pointing out that because they said something doesn't necessarily mean they always materialize in a timely fashion, or at all for that matter.

You know what is unique actual new races, not just modify a body shape a little adn stretch or bend it and glue a tail and ears on and call it a day.

Technically i could make a head gear glam that gleus horns on and call it a new race aswell and or a tail on a chest piece, right?

I call SE lazy on this part and yes Final Fantasy always had psoter boys and girls for there games but some few examples had different races in many shapes, yet here in a game were we are already very limited with like 4 faces on each race, no sldiers etc, out of "fear to create ugly characters", they refuse to make a true beast race.

Take the Wolfman from Yanxia, sure Hyuran body model basically but a full modelled head and not just glued on wolf ears, which i belivee they made official fun of with the halloween event with them and in the Hildibrand quest, is at least something they could had worked on, give it face animations and a female counterpart. Hell, i not even need females with breasts, not everything female need breasts.

Well, a good bit of your examples are reaches.
Like Egis. They're linked to 1 job in this game and said job is one that they have never been very happy with and is prob primed up for a big rework. With the way SMN rotation has become far more focused on Bahamut and Phoenix and such I could see a case being made for speculating that they're trying to rework Egis the way they are now and turn them into something else in the next Expac. Who knows, but if the job does see a massive change to egis it would clearly affect that time table.

But yeah ... whining about something they already said they're gonna do isn't gonna make it happen faster. If that's how you wanna roll then feel free to do so, I just find the notion that it's a waste of time to show support for something that isn't confirmed to be working on compared to whining about something they have said more than once is on the way is flat out wrong.
(Funnier when you remember that the only reason Viera are even IN this game is because of fans like me asking for it non-stop.)

It's a common counter-argument that is used over and over whenever a viera thread pops back up. "They said they were coming - now be quiet". No matter how much time actually has passed since they said they were coming.
