Can Savage be released 1 week after patch launch for the second and final tiers?

I personally really dislike having to ignore doing all the new content just to spend all day crafting in order to prepare gear for the new Savage raid when a x.2 and x.4 patch releases. On top of that I can\\'t even enjoy the story of Normal since you need to beat that asap to access Savage.

Ultimate gets a staggered release, so why not Savage as well? This way everyone can enjoy all the other content and craft at a comfortable pace before starting prog. This is already the case for the first tier after an expansion launch.

It\\'ll definitely alleviate that sense of pressure.

Wouldn't be against of delaying Savage for 1 week. Hovewer, can somebody explain me why you (as a general word, not OP specifically) rush so much to clear it all in 1st week? You have literally 6 months for every tier, nothing horrible will happen if you pay 1st week for MSQ, Trials and Normal mode raid. I cleared Savages in September, finished colleting armor for main job in December and still had 1.5 more month for doing whatever I want to do. So like... why?

Wouldn't mind it since it would allow a more.. level playing field because everyone would get the time to gear themselves, but I feel like you would just end up rushing the EX primal weapon depending on the stats instead if you were really part of the player base that participated in fast clears anyway.

You can do all the new content the next day, or the day after, or next week?

When I get home we will do normal and the quests for it and then jump into Savage and then I'll be Savage per evening untill clear.
So I'll do the other chizzle in the weekend or the next week, etc whenever I have time.

• Bragging rights/prestige of being one of the first groups to clear (and thus the first folks walking around with the newest raid gear).
• Peer pressure if you're in a static and others want to tackle it right away.
• Desire to work on it 'blind' and figure out the mechanics, rather than waiting and having people have already learned them and just hand you a strategy you're expected to follow by the time you get in there.
• Fear of missing out; others are running it and you see them discussing it on Discord or linkshells and now you really want to go get it done before everyone else is through.
• Etc.

Different people probably have different reasons.

There's also that trend with people excluding people that don't have the kill already — for training groups! It usually starts around 1 week after release.

I like to clear them full stop.

But since 4.1 I have wanted to clear them before the next patch due to Ultimate and while I have yet to clear one they have all been fun and I want to get into them as they launched so I have and others like me only have around 4 months to get fully geared and if you want to be flexible on jobs the sooner the better.

I understand the issue. Personally, the most enjoyable time to do something is when everyone is going in blind. The guaranteed window to do that is...very short. During some patches, for example, I've opted to do the new trial first, then started the new raid, only to encounter people who already cleared it in the party (this is within like 2-3 hours of it going live).
