Since when is mass pulling not the standard anymore?
There is no expert dungeon rn where you should do single/half pulls, nor mass pulls weren't manageable.
...unless you have that single targeting dancer standing his 25y max range away from the pack, or your healer prefers Physick/Cure 1 spam...
I just had an Expert Roulette in the Grand Cosmos as a SCH that took 30 minutes because the Warrior tank single pulled and a BLM couldn't dodge several attacks from the last boss when his life depended on it. At this point, doing this dungeon with trusts would have been less stressful.

The first two lines are funny. The third one ruins it by giving the whole message a "please pick a predefined answer since I don't want to actually communicate" vibe.

    -Big pulls you idiot.

If that happens to me I will ask healer if sure and then proceed votekick him and say in party chat "he asked for it".

It's refreshing to see someone say, "Yeah, I'm the one that messed up. In spectacularly hilarious fashion." I would like your post a hundred times if I could. :-)
Thank you for such a positive reply . Yeah, it's hard to see who's ultimately at fault for a death or wipe, but personally I've never seen a problem with at least a quick "sorry" if it's my fault. I mean, I know I'm medicore at best and in which "difficulty mode" I belong or feel comfortable with. My first dungeon experiences on another character (ironically DRG mainly xD) were mostly embarrasing self-inflicted death due to AoE dodging and forgetting that I have suddenly landed in front of the both *coughRamuhcough* just to get toasted by the incoming attack. And as long as nobody trashtalks, they can take their jab and joke about me dying as I'd do the same once the inital "shame" or embarassement settled down.

    So, that happened.

Summoner with the Item Level 290 Stormblood artifact gear...in Titania.

    "Bright Sabbath"

    Summoner dies instantly.

Split up, rocks are gonna come out of the ground and hit you!

    Summoner dies instantly.

    Flaming fist! Everyone stack!

    Summoner dies again.

    Add phase, WHY HELLO ENRAGE!

    Party dies.

    Oh sweet daddy Middy, why?

I got home early from work last night, so i decided to finish off my moogle tome grind. Im 8 away from having everything i want from the event, so i think to myself "Weeping City plus Void Ark is 8, plus a couple runs i havent done in awhile. Should be fun." I que up for Weeping. After 25 minutes were only at 7/24 players directly queing, but then the oldest one waiting apparently got to the front of the roulette line, because the que pops immediately. A couple hellos at the start. Very standard. During the Arachne fight it becomes obvious that our DPS is on point, because she dies immediately after doing the quicksand move(we almost pushed her before she could dive under). Very clean fight, but ive seen plenty of runs where she goes fine and then Forgall feasts upon the souls of the inattentive or unprepared. Run through the trash packs, pull the second boss. First phase is fine. Someone set out markers, so i worry for a sec that during the add phase we might screw up. Nope, succubus is focused down first just like shes supposed to. First Megadeath cast goes out. I run to a puddle to get my protection. Look over at the party list, and my whole group has done the mech right. Then i look up at the alliance list, and i see both other groups are the same. I dont think ive ever seen a Megadeath cast get no one before. His second cast gets 3 people total(the one with the wind orbs that become puddles at the last second) accross the entire alliance, then he dies before he can finish his next attack. Im so impressed with these strangers at this point. Ozma? No one placed meteors wrong, DPS was pushing him super fast... the only mistake i saw was a couple people in my party dodging the cube attack wrong(they did the pyramid dodge for the cube attack), but no one died from it and we finished the fight just a short bit after the doomsday counter(you know, the one from the ozmashade fight that keeps counting even after you finish it and get back to the real fight) ran out. And then as icing on the cake, Calofistari goes great too. Tank is turning her during haircut so no one has to dodge, most of the party is doing the extension mechanics right, and we finished her off just after the second time she did the mechanic. Wish i could have commed all 23 of those guys(including the 2 or 3 people i assume were new since they got mapping achievements).

So i que in for Void Ark next. This time the wait is only about 10 minutes. While were waiting on the gate to drop and the usual hellos are being exchanged one of the DPS(dragoon i think?) starts complaining about the run. "Nooooooo." "Why SE why?" "This is what happens when you dont cheese your ilvl". Like the freaking sky was falling or something. Im sitting there wanting to reach through my monitor and slap some sense into the guy. The tank tries to cheer them up with an "At least it isnt Dun Scaith". But he complains about something else. By now the gate has dropped, so we're clearing the trash fights. Theres a little chatter over alliance because apparently one of the players in another group is streaming on Twitch, but it isnt sustained conversation. I happen to look up at the timer as we finish the last trash pack and start running to Chucu, and we're at just over 10 minutes. I resist the urge to say something(because i dont know for sure if the complainer brought friends who might try to kick me). Fight goes fast(he dies maybe 2 attacks after the fubar add phase), and Echidna goes equally fast(she dies before she can split up the 2nd time). Whole alliance raid was done in about 18 minutes, and im just thinking to myself "MFer you were afraid of a raid we finished in 18 minutes? A raid that had less deaths then your average LotA? WTF is wrong with you?!?" I used to run alliance 3-5 times a week. I used to love all those fights. I havent done it in months(not once since ShB launched) because its always the same 2 instances and i just cant anymore. People like this guy have actively destroyed my love for part of the game. And for what? A slightly easier chunk of exp to level a class theyll never use? I was actually angry at this guy ive never met(and will likely never see again - i didnt bother to note his name or server so i doubt id even know) over a run that went basically perfect(even with about a half dozen mapping achievements at the end). But im not gonna make a scene. I dont say any of the things im thinking. I com the AST who was feeding me cards, i /goodbye, and i take my leave.

Finished the night with my weekly CF run. Another perfectly fine run. The only hiccup came when someone dragged the "aoe following a player" attack through the middle of the biggest group of people during the Engels fight(which if it was an intentional troll, did manage to get half the raid). But the people still standing got everyone else up, and we finished without issue. Got my piece of gear for the week, and for the first time noticed glamour crates hitting the ground. So we must be close to everyone who wanted one getting one by now(and only a week after i finally won the common mini too).

Reminds me of my fiance in... Crown of the Immaculate, I think? All I heard was, "NO WRONG JUMP!" followed by him dying instantly. Been laughing about it ever since. Bet he can't wait for me to actually level DRG and get burned on the jumps.

Cool story, Frizze! On similar note, I've only recently started regularly rouletting on 70+ characters, and a couple days ago landed on Orbonne raid (Stormblood #3). Was just my second time.

I was psyched; I liked the mechanics and the fight in general, trying to spread the joy in party chat in the first party tells. Goal was to improve on slightly rocky first run. Ended up being very smooth
