Can't tell if the OP is a troll. WHM being the inferior healer for the majority of the game was HORRIBLE game design, and Yoshi literally has no excuse.

Also, AST doesn't actually need buffs. People are just whiny cause its not OP anymore.

Actually read please, no one in this thread, hell most in healer forums do not want buffs to ast except a slight mp refresh, no numbers nothing else just mp(I have a thread up literally stating I do not want buffs to ast to boost numbers), the thing people are 'whining about' is the drastic playstyle change of 4yrs to something a decent amount of us do not like or enjoy that has also come with glaring issues to the targeting system that controller users have to deal with.

So again most sane healers who actually even remotely care about balance DO NOT WANT AST BUFFS BESIDES MP.

Clearly you haven’t actually read any discussions about AST. Otherwise you’d know that people aren’t complaining about its potency but rather it’s terrible gameplay. AST only needed potency buffs at the beginning of ShB, and that was more so for its healing because it was severely gimped in that department. Now, people aren’t asking for it to be buffed. They’re asking for it to not feel so awful to play.

Besides, AST is already competitively better than WHM. It has been since Patch 5.1.

I could care less about AST not being OP anymore. Hell I don't feel like I'm contributing more than my SCH partner with how these cards feel. People don't understand that AST has the fastest spell casting of the three healers by default which makes us use MP faster than the two other healers, even with Lucid being used off cooldown and light speed, you'll still suffer. I have to ask my partner to rez anyone because of how it destroys my MP. I actually have to go buy a new mouse because I've clicked so much with it playing AST and the mouse is just a year old being brand new.

If they don't touch the card system then we'll know just how SE feels about AST. It's frustrating, not fun and you won't care about it outside of a third party parser or savage/ultimate group. The class has a big MP issue, also the cards need to be changed to feel less of a hassle to use. The way it sits right now I dread even thinking about doing TEA as an AST. Might as well go WHM or another class.

Well, the live letter didn't mention any AST changes. No healer changes whatsoever. Jobs weren't even mentioned.

There might be some changes in terms of potencies maybe in the patch notes, but functionally no changes to AST.

We Don't want Potency changes. For the love of God, only things were mentioned were RDM buff, Summoner DoT nerfs, Sam QoL improvement. Other than that, nothing was said about AST

I really would just like 50% reduced mp cost during light speed or MP gain from playing cards. Really just any mp regen buff
