Does Square enix have controll over Kingdom hearts and if so....

I see that being a problem somewhat similar to bring a Persona 4 x FFXIV crossover.

Persona 4 was produced by Square-Enix, but is owned by Atlus. If SE would like to add P4 elements here, they will have to get the Atlus' blessing.

What is a shame. I would like a Jack Frost minion.

Jack Frost isn't only belonging to Persona 4. It's been a concept since Shin Megami Tensei, which has existed before the P4 protags were even born. If you want personas, you mean you really want Demons. Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series.

But of course no one remembers SMT because it's not bad anime trope city.

Persona is a spin-off series from Megami Tensei so still within the realm of possibility, especially since Jack Frost is the mascot for Atlus. Though Sega acquired Atlus some time ago so not sure on the legality of if they'd need Sega's approval or not.

And the same goes to Kingdom Hearts. It is not an S-E franchise. It is Disney's. It's a franchise that includes even Mickey Mouse, the Disney's mascot. Ok, S-E done way more than just distribute it, but they need an agreement from Disney's side for S-E add some keyblade weapon, a Organization 13 robe (I would like it) or a Sora minion.

Remember, before even doing KH3, S-E needed to convince Disney to even allow it.

Looked into it a bit more and SE would actually need to get Sega's permission to make use of their IP. But still I'm not against the idea of the crossover at all. I mean I have a Jack Frost and Black Frost tattoo on my legs. I've always been a huge fan of Atlus' various series and games.

the only thing square did was that they published the original ps2 game in europe.
