Kind of like that "is anyone else worried about AST" thread or whatever it's called: At this point, AST needs QoL love so it's not such a pain to play, and perhaps making card effects more interesting. What it doesn't need is raw buffs to make it even stronger. If SE does the latter... well, we'll be in stormblood 2.0, I suppose.

To be fair, with the change to FFlogs we'll never go back to how bad things were for selfish jobs since they aren't an outright detriment to your parse. That being said, I really hope they make some changes so that AST/WHM is actually good not just tolerable.

I mean, saying that AST/SCH is the Most Efficient Tactic Available (META) is pretty accurate. It's not the most fun, or the easiest to play, but as you said, it is the highest performing.
