Seriously, no one should be mad/disappointed/ashamed of/at anyone else for expressing their opinion. The decenters opinions and the supporters opinions are both valid because, that's right, they are opinions. If you don't want to read other people's opinions then maybe you shouldn't be reading forums. Problem solved.

With the way some people project themselves on these boards, I would not be surprised if Yoshida or anyone on the dev team throws a b-fit about us too (except they wouldn't have done so to the public eye).

A lot of people on these forums have difficulty discerning an insult from a complaint. One is an affront while the other is stating a grievance.

While I am really glad the dev team is doing well and all...I think a letter like the one we received is best saved for a social website like others have mentioned.

Since we are not allowed to post off topic threads (They usually get locked really fast if it is not FFXIV game related.) I feel the letter should follow those guidelines too =P Won't lie...I am bit saddened by the lack of FFXIV news and content in the letter...was expecting an epic update with pics, new info, server merge info and polls.

I have to express the same sentiment. When i read the letter, I was really downfallen. I mean, I'm sad about Yoshi's illness and stuff and happy he had a great New Year, but I really was hoping for news about the poll, information on 1.21 etc. I felt really let down, and a little upset.

Look it, all this arguing that we are doing is for naught. We all want this game to succeed every single one of us, has that same goal/dream. We wouldn't be here right now discussing this. So, come on people, lets try to get together and love one another right now!

/agree. some people have to complain (since they cant think of anything else to contribute) it makes them feel that their giving some type of substantial feed back on the forums. None of it has ever changed anything but it keeps them entertained. so as a SE knight as long as the complainers keep paying for the game its a win win SE gets there financial support and i get to laugh at the people who complain about the game and are dissatisfied but still pay for it

He's doing a fantastic job with fixing the game and he's working himself so hard he's getting physically sick (Something the whiners will never do in their entire life). I liked the the LftP.

The man has more than earned the right to post a few LftP that don't have much to do with FFXIV because he is fixing the game we all decided is worth a subscription.

Just last night I saw someone complaining about the LftP not having anything to do with FFXIV and that Yoshi-P is wasting our money because "we're paying him a subscription fee and he is throwing it away! (He's talking about the donation at the shrine)", I tried getting him to explain and tried explaining how things work but he seemed ignorant and stupid (literally stupid, I'm not name calling). My guess is that most of these people complaining know nothing.

O yeah I forgot calling the entire side of the community who actually liked the letter "Kiss asses" isn't rude. sorry my mistake..

And what does calling you that have anything to do with what I said with the Yoshi post? Seems like you got your panties in a bunch of what I said about the community more than what I said about his post.

So I still don't see how I was grouped with other people's posts that called Yoshi's blogging as crap and a waste of time lol.
