Without translation I couldn't care less, why don't they have an official interpreter who can do live commentary. Television has been doing that for decades.

Because there is no need for it, no need at all, because:
- Most if not all of the important stuff is posted on twitter
- Anything left behind is translated in realtime by the community (King Reinheart for example)
- Video LIVE provides so so sosososoo much more than any static letter.

Stop crying because the text is not on the video itself.

If you want to play it that way: they could just stick normal letters and avoid all the whole frustration. But seriously if they want to provide videos for our entertainment then make it so that we can actually watch and understand them or keep the whole hype exclusive to the jp section of the website/forum. Considering the scale on which they're working that really isn't too much to ask.

I dont know man, I think you'd have to have a few screws loose in your head if they showed a video of the jumping animation and you didnt some how figure out and understand that it was a JUMPING ANIMATION and not to mention, the tweet right after said "Yoshi showing examples of jumping in testing", If you can not understand that, then so be it... yanoe?

I just like the way, when a real produsser from SE! lol real one! show up on Youtube say hey to me and he like us, players and want communicate with us... i think he is first i dont know any other produsser from SE who can ask "do you think this will be ok guys? or let me show you here, or this one ok?"

Sometimes i dont understand hard english that SE uses on history news that have tons of that english words and im trying hard to translate, well i love this game and i see how many human work they made just to make this virtual word look like a real with histrory and ect ect
and yes +Reinheart he is epic as always

LIVE letter its just a big bonus or a gift for me from a Yoshida-san, dont forget we have a letters from him, notes, writers from Eorzea magazines and DEVs

I really enjoy the live letters. It would be neat to get more members of the team speaking up on different things. The Twitter account pretty much translates everything after a few minutes (it was much faster with updating the 2nd time) and the 2nd one got a subtitled video a few days later, so I think the translation situation is fine. Any major revelations get their own threads anyways.
