...no. its been addressed in this entire thread. Thanks for now bloating it, and trying to debase me. Happy adventures violating the ToS and best of luck.

I mean, you don’t have to reply to me, you know. You could just...not reply.
I have been reading this thread as it’s blown up. You haven’t really addressed this add-on in the posts you made prior to engaging with me. You’ve just complained about how parsers are against the ToS and need to be banned along with everyone that uses them. I just stepped in to point out that your argument is flawed and, honestly, quite silly.

If this was only about the add on in question, why are you going on about ACT itself and calling everyone who uses it toxic, erm excuse "1337"The game does not lack *any* certain functions that a third party modification is necessary, whatsoever. For you to assume any third party application be supported, or have support its completely absurd and actually laughable. If you use the most commonly used parser out there (that i have not needed since 1.0), and claim it is something you "need" you are wrong. Period. And also in violation of the ToS and i sincerely hope all of you get a ban hammer or a warning.Ultimately, what has resulted from the widespread, ultimately, accepted use of parses and action warnings, is an impact on the difficulty of savage or ultimate. Thus resulting in more handicaps added to your already handicapped version of the game.
Play the game as it's intended. Turn off your ay see tee and try and play like a real gamer.

Well, if nothing else this thread is providing some late night entertainment...![]()

I definitely think SE needs to reign in on the recent addons that have come out. Excluding basic parsing and also auto marker(don't really have an issue with this one since its just placing markers), these newer addons have in my opinion crossed the line in to cheating. Being able to see hidden aoes and other hidden mechanics is pretty ridiculous. Not to mention having addons automate your opener is akin to botting, it's gone so far beyond just a simple addon.
Unfortunately I don't know how SE will be able to do it without breaking the parsing addon like what WoW did with DBM.
Can anyone link what is being talked about and name the plugin so I can get some context?

30-40% is a bit high...since it can only be used on a PC, let's say the PC playerbase is 50-60% of the total installed playerbase. If about 25% of THAT 50% of PC users actively raid, and we assume all raiders use a parser, then the 25% of the PC installed base of 50% would need to account for 30/40% of the entire subbed population, which I am really fairly sure isn't the case. I don't believe the amount of people raiding in the game on PC is equal to 30-40% going by clears alone (from census data and other sites).
Plus, I'm not even sure if they could identify who uses the parser in the first place, and if they did, I very much believe they would issue a mere blanket warning about using it. While they may not be able to tell who uses it, they probably can very well disable the ability for it to work. Still, saying that banning those who use a parser would make SE lose 30-40% of ffxiv's subscribers is quite a long reach ^^
