I subscribe to the Multiverse theory; if you can imagine it...it just might be so.

In my mind, Agent is a representation of me, albeit, younger and having a lot more fun, just living life in another world. Loosely controlled by me, or maybe not, still unclear. She wanders alone, with no one to answer to, she knows neither where she came from or where she will end up...and she is perfectly okay with that.

Maybe there is another her watching me live out my life, who knows, except I thought it...so perhaps it is so.

My Character was born in the Steppe as Lkhagvasüren of Ejinn tribe in 1557 of The Sixth Astral Era 5 years after The Empire took Doma, she has always been a stoic girl of few words, but can be very snarky when the situation called for it, there is little entertainment in the steppe after all she gotta amuses herself somehow.

Her mother never cared about The Empire before but after she gave birth to her daughter and seeing what The Empire is doing to Doma, She feared the empire would come for The Steppe next so she decided to take her daughter and flee while her husband decided to stay.

The ship they're on sank in the Sea of Jade near the eastern coast of Black Shroud, but because they're of Ejinn tribe they're very good swimmers and managed to make it to The Pearl while everyone else drowned.

There, they found a group of Coeurl Tamers who took them in and give them refuge, since they have experience in helping to tame Yols and Dzos, they fit right in with the tamers, even though they know nothing about taming Coeurls.

After spending most of her life up to that point helping the tamers together with her mother, Lkhagvasüren, being a Xaela, yearn for something more beyond The Pearl. Even though she has no clear goal of where to go or what to do, she asked her mother and the tamers for permission to leave, but since the war was really close by and has no sign of ending they denied her.

To give the girl hope, The tamers gave her a new name because her old name is impossible to pronounce by an Eorzean, as maybe one day she will be able to leave The Pearl and ingratiate herself with the society of Eorzean.

Because she arrived at The Pearl with her mother on the 17th Sun of the First Astral moon, she was given the name Venetoi Leukoi, means Blue White in ancient forgotten Lominsan language, Blue represent the element of the month and white represent The Pearl and the full moon of the day she arrived or so the tamers claimed but don't quote them on this, and they're also quite intoxicated at the time.

Since then she becomes known among the tamers as Blue Moon of The Pearl, where she spends many more years taming Coeurls and fishing for food while isolated from all the conflict of the Mainland and the effect of the calamity that eventually followed

5 years after the Calamity the tamers and her mother finally gave Venetoi blessing to leave, she bids farewell to her mother and everyone else on the Island.

She arrived on the mainland at the coast of East Shroud, there she hitched a ride with a carriage, on it she meets a stranger who recommend her joining the adventurer guild, and WHAT IN THE SEVENTH HELL ARE THOSE MOLE BATS!?

    "Moogles!?"

    The Rest, is history.

    *sorry for grammar mistakes.

I wrote a bio for my character a little while back, but it's both too long to post here, and needs to be revised as I fell out of love with MCH & GNB, fell back in love with DRG, and decided that I might as well stick with DRK because tanking is terrible in ShB no matter which job you choose

    So, just some dot points:

    - Chaffed under the rigid traditions of her tribe in the Golmore jungle. Developed a hatred of outside forces imposing on individual will and moral autonomy from this and other experiences.
    - After encountering the phenomena of tempering in Ul'Dah, Purgatori became determined to wipe out Primals and the threat they represent to the exercise of free will (no exceptions ).
    - Doesn't think much of the Scions, but has a huge crush on Y'Shtola, and is generally on board with their Primal-killing priorities.
    - Gridania reminds her of the good parts of her homeland, sans the tribalism and traditionalism.
    - "Fray makes a lot of sense."
    - Thinks that dragons shouldn't be the only ones who get to live forever.
    - Opinion on the astral/umbral cycle? "This cannot continue."
    - Why DRG? *1. Bunny = +2 to hopping. 2. Spears are good for killing gods. 3. Pet dragon confirmed for 6.0

Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

Even tho right now im a viera now, my wod is a moonkeeper migote boy who was born with a twin sister. He is shy, really dumb and lacks common sense to the most part. He spent his child hood inside reading books and making his on special world in his head. He got pulled outside by his much more out going sister and ended up on the MSQ story line that everyone seen. What is not seen is his crying and need of support even tho the story makes it seem he is doing it by himself. He isnt a strong hero alone, but with friends he just might be.
(He also is really soft looking and soft spoken boy so not one to look like a strong hero either..)

An aspiring Adventurer turned suicidal sociopath and bully post DRK quest. Every day is a quest to find something that will kill her to just end it. Only helps people because screw it, it might be entertaining.

    I keep it simple.

    I loved this thread!

Actualy, I play a female hyur highlander (need to change my char on this forum, btw)...

She is a kind and hopeful girl that get herself engulfed by nice people at Eorzea after evading the war going on Ala Mhigo. She lost her parents and have a sister missing...

In combat, she likes to use ranged physical skills most, so I only leveled Machinist, Dancer and Bard on her. She is primarily a machinist, though. But came to eorzea as a timid archer.

She is moved by the desire to free everyone from suffering, but since she lacks the hability to heal or use spells, she adopted this kind of weapons to protect the weak.

After Hydaelyn choose her to be her champion, she understood that her mission is far way more than just bring justice to Ala Mhigo and she feels that something more lurks in the depths of the Abiss of injustice and rage from the imperials.

As she comes throught the story, she learn more about herself and all her play in the divine machinations. A curiosity that driven her forward mastering her skills but never losing her wit, her kindness and her love for freedom and justice.

Haha a long time ago I crafted my potate as a combat alchemist in a special unit of the Immortal Flames because canonically she has no affinity for any soulstone of traditional form or combat whatsoever. I got the idea from a super interesting D&D x FFXIV homebrew that had Alchemist as a combat class and I fell in love with it. Mimihi originally was a simple alchemist with unorthodox ideas trying to convince people to dispatch more alchemists to the field in the case where conjurers are unavailable (since, tbh, people with conjurer affinity aren't exactly wide spread). Just after seeing what happened in Ul'dah five years ago and how awful it was that she didn't really have the strength to do anything outside of the city like actual adventurers and such, she just kinda worked hard to change that in herself. Creating small things like quick salves, poison bombs, paralysis traps, flash grenades and other sorts of things that can be deployed in combat from a someone working as support.

I don't really RP due to being on a non-RP server and I know a lot of this bends canon, but I keep it in my mind as true to my character's story haha. She's a bit of a fire cracker.

And yes I realize my potate had a sex change bc I prefer the male lalafell emotes, but she'll always be Mimihi Mihi, the very tiny and aggressive potion slinging alchemist with a passion for... "cooking". But honestly if I could bring this little story to life without being shunned by FFXIV's RP community I so would.

May be easier on other platforms. I see people bend all the rules on Twitter, but yea I imagine walk-ups in-game would handle homebrew with a lot less enthusiasm.

We all play through the MSQ though, so I think its interesting to see what parts of the story people really lean into for their WoL, or adapt differently. Like my WoL is from Ishgard - which changes a lot of how the Heavensward campaign went for him and how he interacted with some of those characters since he wasn't going there for the first time but returning years after having "run away". I also don't really do the whole soulstone thing.. he's got a busted DRK one but he doesn't use it. He just punches stuff really well and leans heavily on the Scions for help; being the WoL (and also an extremely impulsive and caring person) is what gives that needed edge to get things done. He's kinda just here for the ride.

I just want to pick on this because you might be confusing conjury with white magic.

White magic is the more powerful version, banned from being practised by anyone except the Padjals (and a certain chosen adventurer), but conjury is common healing magic and is really widespread - most 'human' enemies will have a conjurer type amongst the group, and even non-healers may still cast Cure spells. There's also a levequest description that mentions giving basic conjury training to (I think) all the children in Gridania - it seems to be the magical equivalent of first aid.

It's cast by incantation of spells, although the power depends on the caster's skill, so it might be possible that anyone who knows the right words might be able to speak them and produce some degree of effect.

That's not to say that there isn't a place for alchemical substitutes for healing magic, but conjury isn't as limited as you might be thinking it is.

(Also, on having a female character but using a male character-model... There's at least one canon instance of that being done for an NPC, so you're not alone there.)
