I used an Aether. Once.Ragnarok Online would be one example. Instant-effect, zero cooldown heal for about 800.

I remember a WoE (Ragnarok on 2004/5, pre rebirth and advance classes) i was defending the castle with my guild that a Knight enter on the defense and last like 8-10 min drinking potions, he tell us after it that he use like 500 potions. But well that 500 potions were like 1k each and 500k on that time was a lot of money to burn that quickly.

Anyway, on XI all potions were intant-effect with no cooldown but the best ones give medicament status that dont let you use another potion that also give that status. So you can spam normal potions but mega-elixirs by example you can use 1 by every 30 min if you don't die.
