    I think they should go, and yes as a DRG I can say these given I only have a few positionals yes but the big gripe is that positionals open up to to trolling by tanks.Quite a few times tanks keep turning the boss or 2 tanks having an emmity battle with each other making the boss switch back and forth gets really annoying.I wanna be in control of the way i fight.. my game my combat, I do not want that power in anyone else hands to force me to change sides bc they keep spinning the boss so I can do my positionals.It is redundant as well is crafting crystals.

    Positionals are dumb. They just gimp melee in situations where they're forced out of position.

    It's a bad way to make the classes more complex and interesting; assuming positionals even accomplish that.

    So what you're telling me is.... They should go because ONE or TWO Tanks are fighting aggro OR spinning the boss around?


    First of all, I would've tell them /p, /a, /sh Can you guys PLEASE stop moving the boss around? So I can do positionals. Or stop fighting aggro? If they keep that up I'll probably vote kick.

    What do you mean "Forced out of position" You mean... Dodging mechanics? I mean... that's the only way for you to survive and NOT die. I rather lose one or two positionals than being a dead DPS son. And you can always use...

    What they are saying is "positionals are too hard for me, I can barely focus on my rotation while not moving so how am I gonna so it while taking a few steps?".

    What do you mean "Forced out of position" You mean... Dodging mechanics? I mean... that's the only way for you to survive and NOT die. I rather lose one or two positionals than being a dead DPS son. And you can always use...
    There are plenty of fights where you can't take the monster/bosses side or back, unless positionals aren't required there; not to mention fighting anything solo.

    Regardless, I don't see how it's an engaging or interesting mechanic. It's pretty much just the tanks job to place the enemies back to you anyways; it's not making your rotation any more challenging.

    Well, it sounds like to me buddy that you wanna play physical range classes. They have no positionals, don't have to worry about uptime, and they can move freely and do mechanics on top of that. If Positionals are that boring to you or less challenging.

    I mainly tank and the only DPS I plan to do is Summoner, so yea. I'm just saying that positionals just cause problems for melee classes, and not the kind of problems that are related to the players skill. They just mechanically don't work for a lot of situations. If you find them so engaging and fun that the issues they cause don't matter then kudos, but I think it would be better to remove them.

    Find a way to make melee more engaging that works better mechanically.

    It certainly takes way more skill to just stand in one spot the whole fight and press buttons, ay? Positionals work in 99% of cases if you actually are decent at playing the game. No shade here, just stating facts.

    No, I'd say it takes roughly the same amount of skill; which is why I don't see the point. Keeping an enemies back isn't difficult; the tank pretty much gives you the enemies back by default. The only time keeping an enemies back isn't easy is situations where it's impossible. So, again, what's the point?

    I'm all for making melee more difficult and engaging, but do positionals really accomplish that at all?

    I like them as they are. You can ignore them and be passable in most content at worst. You can get a bonus and be more involved at best.
