....dude, that's 100% opinion. All 3 of these are opinion and 'personally' I find that moogle mount creepy as HECK and refuse to use it or go near it if someone offers me a ride on it. I'd rather use my own mount and follow. I don't think it's 'better made' at all. It's creepy.

There are no 'walls' to mounts that you don't put up yourself except, in some cases, financial or location for the ones that are region based or codes for items not sold here(yet) or sell out. If you don't like a game mode, can't do it for whatever reason, miss it... Oh well. I don't 'like' pvp and won't touch Feast because I don't feel up to trying to force myself to do something I don't enjoy at a level to complete with people who DO enjoy it. I don't feel 'cheated' out of those rewards. And they ARE rewards for people who do something at such a level that they earn them.

Some people EARN THINGS for the work they put into something. The Savage mounts, at level, are REWARDS for the time and effort put into it. This tier is the first time in ages I have had the time, health, and energy to do it at level and I feel happy to have the Titan mount. (Ugly though it is...) It was a reward. Cool! I do not LIKE pvp, but I still got my butt in there at the last second and earned ALL of the GARO gear and 2 of the mounts on 2 characters ANYWAY because I knew they were going away due to contract stuff. I went out and EARNED them. I respect the idea of 'if you want a reward, go out and earn it'.

Cash shop is okay for some things. SOME things. Not EVERYthing. I don't expect, or WANT, everything handed to me. That's a crappy way to have a game go. You shouldn't want it to be like that, either.

Better mounts in mogshop?

Bruh, nothing beats the power of the adamantoise mount. It rotates at 70 turtlepower per minute and it comes with turbojets. By all accounts, you should be smacking other riders a la Mario Kart style, sending them flying across the air or ground space.

Or what about the elegant, majestic Fenrir? You ever take that thing while skimming on the ocean? The ice crystals at it's feet combined with the water splash makes it look like I'm surfing on Suicune.

And let's not forget to mention the moogle mount. That thing should double as a bed, chair and carpet. I can "puff puff" as much as I want.

A very small amount of mounts compared to all the ones available in the game to obtain (and im not counting mounts from limited events or rewards). Mogstation exclusive mounts aren't even as coool as the ones you can get for free

And? Regalia was awfully easy to obtain (200K MGP is a fucking joke. You can literally get that in a single fucking day; or two if you want to take your time) and GARO event lasted a lot; hell, i decided to get everything only after finishing all the MSQ from 5.0. I played very casually and yet i got everything. All gear sets and mounts. I didn't even have all classes at 60 when i got the gear sets, and spent a little more time levelling up to get all the titles. So, yeah, you just didn't care in the first place, or are just lazy

You started this thread and now you're getting basically read the riot act. By the way, you were not 'locked' into being a Serpent (yellow) either. (Or weren't before they FORCED everyone to be Freelancer...) You could have switched Grand Companies at any time. You CHOSE to remain one. But hey, they've now FORCED everyone to be Freelancer, so you don't even have that excuse. Cheers.

Mainly mounts, but yeah there's just too much stuff that's impossible to get. Either it's behind the PvP wall or exclusive to Feast prizes, it's behind the overpriced Mogstation paywall or it's simply been removed from the game and impossible to get at all, like the Regalia or the GARO items (I'm still pissed off about being denied any GARO mounts because Squeenix could be bothered to properly balance PVP and locked me to Serpents when Maelstrom always wins.)

It's utterly ridiculous. Why do we need to have half the content in this game barred from being obtained just from playing the game? Is my $15/mo not good enough for you, Squeenix?

Starts with title about unobtainable items, then lists items that were obtainable through playing the game.

Like any game, some things require grind, some things require subs. You could have the regalia if you were subbed to the game at the time. Same with Garo, and PvP items are again something you can get from playing the game. I got all the titles I wanted and a mount from the Garo event through a grand total of a few weeks of putting moderate effort in with maybe a day or two of a solid grind. The items arent hard to get. Either be signed up for the game or put in basic effort. I mean that Garo Even was around since what...3.X? That was like 2-4 years.

Im not sure what mroe you want and what you define as 'playing the game', cause I played the game and got the things I wanted. It sounds more like you want the things given to you for simply existing in game.
