No love for casters on the KB

So here I am begging you, pleading really. Make my experience on the keyboard more fun for casting. whats wrong with targeting and pressing to cast. instead i have to target, then choose a spell, then confirm target, and oh look you presses confirm one too many times so it cancelled it... so please revise this.

I tend to find Macros super useful, but i cant even target a specific party member with a macro. this would be nice so i can set up my emergency macros. currently i am using

    /ac "Spell" <t>

this either hits the nearest target or who you are targeting. i would like to do something like this.

    /ac "Cure" <Friendly Neighbor>

    or

    /t <Friendly Neighbor>
    /ac "Cure" <t>

I find the UI very clunky even when i reduced every things size on my screen. please allow us to make stuff even smaller.

Auto targeting is very clumsy, by the time i get to the target im healing or dpsing its either dead or very close. so either fix that or the click targeting (which seems to all ways target slightly to the right of where i click.

thanks for all of your hard work

The way I bypass the casting confirmation is placing my thumb near the Intro button on the number pad, so when i press the skill, I press the confirmation with the other finger while moving my mouse, pretty simple but I agree, it could be just... press the skill and throw it out instead of confirming or cancelling for casting over another spell - same spell in some cases.

Also I think there should be a simple way to INTERRUPT the skill, most online games do it by pressing the esc key, but I haven't found any way appart of casting another spell to cancel

I use the F1~F8 keys to target party members.

I use a gamepad and I also hate having to select a target twice. There's no need for this anymore since we have targeting modes and we can scroll through the party list.

Get rid of sub-targeting from the action bar. If you want to use it, use <st> command.

You can use <p1-7> to target specific party members in macros. It works like this:

    Your Party Window:
    Player1
    Player2
    Player3
    Player4
    Player5
    Player6
    Player7

    /ac "Cure" <p4>

    Cures Player4

I use this to target tank and cure them. Also good for setting up /assist macro. You can do /assist <p1> and it will select that player's target. Good for moogles to quickly aquire next moogle.
