A member of my linkshell theories that the higher tier materia chances are affected by the % dmg repaired of the item so 100% repaired yields greater chances of higher tier materia success then if the item had 50% dmg.

We are still testing this theory atm but it seems likely the % dmg affects the outcome.

SE already confirmed that durability does not affect materia.

I hope someone updates Lodestone's Main Page with this information. It doesn't show the level of detail we'd hoped for, but it's a start.

Weren't we supposed to get a full list ? ie : This specific gear mights change into those materias ?
