Honestly a lot of FFXIV reeks of male insecurity. They had to be dragged on their heels to get bunny outfits for everyone. The dudes have basically no bulge. Options for men to be sexy are comparatively scarce or relatively conservative.

We are at least getting some ports of old female clothing for the guys shortly and vice versa but I do wish they'd just get over it and make things equal on both sides. Everyone deserves a booty. Everyone deserves to look bad ass. Everyone deserves to look pretty in a dress. Especially in the case of the dresses.

Yeah. It's going to be great. Really looking forward to the butler outfit in particular.

Shame stuff that isn't gender-locked but changes drastically based on gender will go unaltered. For example, women will never be able to wear Hildibrand's outfit, because it takes the form of Nashu's outfit when worn instead (horribly short skirt and cleavage cut included), largely due to the fact it is based on the Patrician's set. It would have been way better to have Hildi's outfit and Nashu's outfit be separate so we could have chosen.
