Nah, trust him, you only need one magical attack, one physical attack (Drill Cannons most often recommended), and Loom, to beat the 25th stage. More spells than that would just make killing him faster, but his difficulty remains about the same, and he's honestly easier than some of the earlier stages, I would recommend you try jumping to him. A lot of the Carnivale stages are really lame "puzzles" that just boil down to "you have this skill?" and you get meme'd on if you don't, so if you're having trouble, just try and contemplate if a skill you have seems oddly fitting for the encounter.
